Subsequently, a vacuum is produced in the transfer tube 4, and the liquid is drawn out from the cuvette 1 with the aid and mediation of the transfer tube 4. Since the cuvette 1 should be inclined expressly at the time when the liquid present therein is exhausted, the tip 19 of the transfer tube 4 may be lowered into the cuvette 1, and removal suction commenced, already before the most favourable inclination has been reached, for instance while the cuvette is still in the horizontal position of Fig. 1, or during the tilting motion.

Abstract

Procédé et moyen pour retirer un liquide, par exemple un échantillon liquide, ou un liquide de lavage et/ou de rin¢age, d'une cuve (1) comprenant une paroi (2) et un fond(3). Selon ce procédé, le liquide est aspiré de la cuve à l'aide d'un tube de transfert (4) faisant partie du moyen, ledit tube de transfert (4) étant déplacé par un moyen de commande (7) vers ou depuis l'intérieur de la cuve (1) à un angle (α), par rapport à l'horizontale. Selon le procédé, on incline la cuve (1) à un angle (α) par rapport à l'horizontale, on introduit l'extrémité du tube de transfert (4) à l'intérieur de la cuve inclinée, dans la partie formant un coin (5) entre la paroi (2) et le fond (3), là où le liquide s'est déposé, et on aspire le liquide de la cuve à l'aide du tube de transfert.
