Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un système de prise d'images spectroscopiques de tissus corporels, dans lequel un écran à scintillation et un dispositif à couplage de charge (CCD) sont utilisés pour permettre une prise d'images précise des tissus sélectionnés. Ce système trouve des applications dans la représentation en images des répartitions des radionuclides dans le corps humain ou dans l'emploi d'une source d'énergie double pour un appareil de densitométrie osseuse à photons qui utilise des techniques d'acquisition à images stationnaires ou exploration. Les rayons X sont produits par une source de rayons X qui traverse une région du corps du sujet, en formant une image radiographique qui atteint l'écran à scintillation. L'écran à scintillation irradie en retour une figure d'intensité spatiale qui correspond à l'image et qui est détectée par un capteur à CCD. L'image est numérisée par le capteur et traitée par une unité de commande avant d'être stockée sous la forme d'une image électronique.
