Abstract

Machine outils pour l'usinage de formes globiques complexes destinée à la réalisation de pièces à configurations évolutives. La pièce à usiner, placée sur un support (K), est contournée par l'outil (G) tenu par un ensemble mécanique. Ce dernier comporte d'une part deux bras (L) et (M) dont les axes de rotation (O O) et (Q Q) sont respectivement situés à 90° l'un de l'autre et ont un point d'intersection (I) commun correspondant à la pointe de l'outil (G) et d'autre part un axe linéaire (P P) placé à la normale de l'axe de rotation du bras (L) avec lequel il est solidarisé et qui passe également par ledit point d'intersection (I) commun des deux bras (L) et (M). Le support (K) de la pièce peut avoir une rotation contrôlée autour d'un axe (R R). La pièce et l'outil (G) sont indifféremment déplacés de façon complémentaire par 1, 2 ou 3 axes X, Y, Z. La réalisation de formes complexes est grandement facilitée du fait de la plus grande liberté des axes et permet d'usiner des formes prototypes pour des aubes, ou des formes artistiques nouvelles.
