Abstract
Sont décrits un procédé et un appareil pour assembler des éléments allongés. L'appareil comprend une chambre (A) qui abrite un piston (K) boulonné à un plongeur (M) dont l'extrémité inférieure est conformée de manière à venir frapper sur l'agrafe (N1) logée dans le porte-magasin (H) en s'alignant avec la plaque de guidage (J). Des barres mutuellement perpendiculaires (X et Y) sont situées autour de jambages (C) et de pieds (J) réglables. Des jambages (C) sont réglés à l'aide d'une pluralité d'éléments d'écartement (F) et sont assujettis sur le cadre (B) par le boulon de cisaillement (D), le cadre (B) étant assujetti à la chambre (A) par serrage du boulon de cisaillement (D). L'engagement de la gâchette (I) amène le piston (K) à obliger le plongeur (M) à venir frapper sur l'agrafe (N1). Cette dernière s'abaisse et sa ou ses branches se courbent en arc grâce aux gorges (L) pour déformer au moins une partie de l'agrafe autour des éléments allongés.
