Abstract

La présente invention concerne une séquence d'acides nucléiques isolée qui code β-1,4-galactosyltransférase humaine liée à une membrane purifiée, ou son équivalent fonctionnel. Cette invention concerne également une séquence d'acides nucléiques isolée qui code β-1,4-galactosyltransférase humaine soluble et purifiée ou son équivalent fonctionnel. L'invention concerne en outre des vecteurs comprenant ces séquences d'acides nucléiques et l'expression de protéines recombinantes par l'utilisation d'un système vecteur hôte. L'invention concerne également des anticorps réagissant avec les protéines et des sondes réagissant avec les séquences d'acides nucléiques. Finalement, l'invention décrit une méthode permettant de diagnostiquer une anémie dyserthropoiétique congénitale de type II chez un sujet.
