Definitions
- the invention relates to a metering element for introducing and optionally distributing powdery, pasty or liquid detergent in a washing machine.
- Dosing elements of this type which are also used as dosing stores, have already become known in various configurations. For example, in spherical form as a practically rigid body. Liquid detergent is poured into such dosing balls from above through a suitable opening and the filled dosing element is then inserted into a washing machine filled with laundry. At the beginning of the washing process, with the onset of the drum movement, the dosing element is tipped over and the liquid detergent runs out into the laundry or the wash liquor.
- Such metering elements are not yet satisfactory in every respect. In particular, powdered or pasty detergent in a metered amount cannot be used directly in the laundry with such a known metering element.
- powdered detergent can be filled into a known dosing element for liquid detergent, but this is already associated with a certain amount of effort, since the openings are not intended for this.
- the known dosing elements are also unsatisfactory in that they cause a relatively loud noise when the washing machine is operated by hitting the washing drum.
- the task for the invention is derived from a metering element for introducing and possibly distributing powdered, pasty or liquid detergent to specify in a washing machine, which is designed to be more practical with simple training.
- a scoop edge can be designed as a filling aid, with which a
- the edge region of the receiving bag is contained in the insert, preferably in such a way that the receiving part forms an area which extends downward into the receiving bag and which corresponds to
- the receiving bag 25 is covered by the receiving bag.
- the receiving bag can be held approximately in the middle, based on the length of the insert.
- the receiving bag preferably consists of a textile material, for example terry material.
- the receiving bag can also consist entirely of plastic films, for example based on polyethylene, in particular for taking up liquid detergent.
- plastic film bag
- the receiving bag 3 can also be powdered or in the same way pasty detergent can be entered.
- the bag can be completely flushed through a relatively large inflow and outflow opening in the insert part, for complete emptying. It is advantageous that, due to its length, the receiving bag can even - at least partially - wrap the metering element around the insert part in the emptied state and in this way creates damping when it comes into contact with the drum.
- the receiving bag is made of textile material, it is provided according to an advantageous embodiment that the receiving bag is provided with a liquid-impermeable lining in its lower region. This area can then be used to hold liquid detergent.
- the two-part design in which a textile area of the receiving bag is first connected to the insert part and then a liquid-impermeable area, for example lined with film, makes advantage of the generally lower detergent
- the entry of wash liquor is therefore not limited to the filling or dispensing opening in the insert.
- This two-part design is also possible when using foam material.
- the foam can be partially skin-covered.
- the receiving bag can also consist entirely of liquid-impermeable plastic film material.
- the insert part itself consists of two plug-in parts which form a circumferential, cylindrical plug-in area, by means of which the receptacle tel is summarized. The plug-in parts can be plugged together with simultaneous fastening of the receiving bag.
- the receiving bag can advantageously be contained in the insert part such that the edge region of the receiving bag protrudes into the interior of the insert part, forming a collar, as it were. Due to the soft elastic material property of the receiving bag, the filling of detergent is practically not hindered by this, but leakage or outflow before the start of the washing cycle * is largely prevented, for example in relation to slight tendencies to tip when inserted into a washing machine.
- the insert part can also be designed so that it can be closed by a lid, the lid having exit holes. When the cover is removed, the dosing element can be easily filled, but with the cover attached, a detergent leak is ensured after a certain time delay.
- An embodiment with a lid that cannot be removed during use is also possible.
- the lid has a sufficiently large opening for filling.
- a measuring marking can be provided on the transparent insert, which enables better dosing with regard to different purposes when scooping and filling the dosing element.
- Figure 1 is a side view of a metering element with a transparent receiving bag.
- FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the object according to FIG. 1;
- FIG. 3 shows a top view of the object according to FIG. I;
- Fig. 4 is a side view, partly in section along the line IV-IV in Figure 5, a two- ⁇ th embodiment of the metering element.
- FIG. 6 shows a side view of a further embodiment of a metering element
- FIG. 8 shows a longitudinal section through the metering element according to FIG. 7, cut along the line VIII-VIII in FIG. 9;
- FIG. 9 is a plan view of the metering element according to FIG. 8.
- the dosing element 1 has a flexible, lobed receiving bag 2, which is provided on its upper edge 3 with a rigid insert part 6 which forms a dispensing opening 4 and filling means 5.
- the edge area 3 of the receiving bag 2, which is contained in the insert part 6, covers an area 7 of the insert part 6 which extends into the receiving bag 2 and which serves, for example, to guide the receiving bag in this upper area.
- the receiving bag 2 can be made both of a water-impermeable material, such as plastic film material, and of a flowable material or foam. Combinations between textile material and waterproof material are also possible. This is described in more detail below with reference to FIG. 7.
- a terry material is preferred with regard to the textile material.
- the fillers can consist, for example, in the configuration of the edge region of the insert part 6, which enable both pouring in liquid detergent and scooping out powder detergent.
- a corresponding scoop edge 8 can be seen in the illustration in FIG. 2. 4, an enlarged scoop edge 8 can be seen. 6, in which the receiving bag 2 for receiving liquid detergent consists of a liquid-impermeable material, here plastic film material, the upper edge 8 of the insert part 6 is formed with markings 9 so that it also serves as a measuring cup.
- the receiving bag 2 is designed with two areas which are different in terms of their permeability.
- the lower area 10 consists of a textile material which is lined on the inside with a plastic film material, while the upper area 11 consists of only textile material that can be flooded.
- the metering element 1 according to FIG. 7 is particularly suitable for a combined use for metering and introducing liquid detergent or powdered detergent into a washing machine Laundry detergent. In the case of liquid detergent, a smaller volume is generally required, so that the lower region 10 is sufficient to hold the liquid detergent, while the full volume of both regions 10 and 11 of the receiving bag 2 is required for filling with powdered detergent .
- the metering element 1 Due to the permeability of the receiving bag 2 in the upper region 11, powdered detergent introduced into the receiving bag 2 can be dissolved more quickly by rapid wetting of water as a result of the flooding of the textile material and transferred to the wash liquor.
- the metering element 1 according to FIGS. 7-9 has a removable cover 12, which is provided with outlet holes 13.
- the insert part 6 consists of two plug-in parts 13, 14, which form a circumferential, cylindrical plug-in area 15, by means of which the receiving bag 2 is held.
- the receiving bag is preferably designed in such a way that, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 8, it forms an edge region 16 projecting into the interior of the metering element 1.
- This collar-shaped edge region 16 serves, as it were, as a filling funnel and also as a certain protection against leakage, slight tilting or the like.
- the cover 12 can be seen as a further plug-in part which brings the holder of the receiving bag.
- the plug-in part 14 has a double-shell design in its circumferential area, with an upper opening which extends from the outside inwardly drawn edge region of the receiving bag 2 is covered.
- the bag parts or edge areas 16 projecting inward beyond the edge of the plug-in part 14 act as a lamellar closure and prevent the product from flowing out quickly. Accordingly geform ⁇ te, acting sealingly flexible 'slats may also be formed on the male part 14 inside.
