Abstract

Un procédé amélioré permet de préparer des esters d'acides polyhalophtaliques, d'acides polyhalobenzoïques et d'anhydride polyhalophtalique utiles comme agents ignifuges dans des résines thermoplastiques et thermodurcissables. Le procédé comprend la mise en réaction de ces acides ou de l'anhydride avec des alcools, en présence de certains composés métalliques et organo-métalliques qui agissent en tant que catalyseurs. L'invention concerne également des esters proprement dits.
