To all whom 'it may concern:

Be it known that I, HERMANN VASSEUR, of Wallingford, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Tea- Service; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying illustration, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the saine, and which said illustration constitutes part of this specilication, nud represents a side view of the eleven pieces which compose the complete tea-service.

This invention relates to a design for tea-service, and consists in the general outline of the several pieces, and configuration or ornamentation of the same.

As here represented, the service is composed of eleven pieces. The same characteristic features are found in all the pieces, that is to say, the convex bottorn below a plain band, conically-shaped body, drawing into a neck, which from the union with the body upward, flares or opens. The legs which support the several pieces all correspond to each other, as also the ornamentation ofthe body. The handles, spouts, and other corresponding,r parts are as near like one to the other as the nature of the piece will admit, and all as i'nlly shown in the accon'lpanying photographie illustration.

I do not wish to be understood as confining my design to require any number of pieces, either one of several pieces containing,r in itself the design which I desire to secure by Letters Patent.

I claim, as my invention- The design for tea-service, as described and shown.
