Be it known that I, THOMAS ATKINSON, of Mem phis, county of Shelby,`and State of Tennessee, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Bee-Hives;

I construct my hive in a square or oblong shape,

.and divide it into two sections.

My combs are made with a circular top, in such a manner as to allow them to be removed from the side of the hive,as shown in tig. 1, while the clasps SS serve as guides, to `hold the frames in position.

The top section of my hive is provided-'With removable eomb-frames C C, and honey-boxes Dil).

Thev frames C C are operated the same as the frames B B, in the main Section of the hive.

The lower section of my hive is .supplied with an 'inside door, E, andan outside door, F, SlidingA in grooves f' B, to be removed wit-hout exposing or disturbing the rest ofthe comb-frames. l Y

The removable eomb-framesiir the upper section are removed by removing the sliding door G.
