The nature of this improvement consists in forming the printing surface'or the face of the t'ype of :i stereotype or eleetrotype plate used as :t business hund-stempin 'a conve-x form, s`o that whenl making :in impression the central portion of the farce of snid plntewill readily give a eleur nndpdistinct impression upon the paper' or other inutcrinl intended to receive the impression.
