IMPROVEMENT IN HANGING GRINDSTONES.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONGERN:

Beit known that I, DAVID B. HERRINTON, of Detroit, in the county of Wayne, inthe State of Michigan, have invented a new and improved Method of Hanging Grindstones and Pulleys; and I do declare that` the following is a true and accurate description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawingsfand to the letters of reference marked thereon, being a. part of this specification. v

IA represents a grindstone or pulley, and B the shaft upon'which it is hung. Upon each oilthe four sides ofthe shaft A are placed the plates D D, &c., provided with proper set-screws C C, &c. By the means of these set-screws C C, &o., the grindstone or pulley may be perfectly adjusted' upon the shaft B, so that theperiphery ofthe grindstone or pulley A will be equally distant from the centre at all points.
