The invention relates to medicine, more specifically to dental devices worn on the dentition for delivery to the body of various useful and / or therapeutic substances, as well as for protecting teeth and soft tissues of the oral cavity from chemical and biological damage.

There are many known dental devices that are made. U-shaped overlay on the arch of the teeth. The lining on the teeth can be held both mechanically, by gluing or by tight fitting due to preliminary thermal adjustment for certain teeth. From US Pat. No. 8,505,541, for example, an overlay is known, which is a U-shaped base with a channel for holding the arch of teeth with the inserts in it, into which certain therapeutic agents are found. Lining can be worn. only on one row of teeth or on the upper and lower rows. Recently. stripes in the form of strips capable of adhering to the wet surface of teeth are widespread. In the patent of the Russian Federation 2313332 a similar thin film is proposed, including a dried, water-hydrated matrix containing agents acting on the teeth.

All known devices are characterized by the fact that they are often performed individually for each row of teeth, require special actions to ensure their retention on the dentition, for example, some designs of pads are made of materials that are sensitive to thermal effects. Such pads before passing to the patient go through a thermal adjustment step under his teeth. Ready-to-use pads are either made in different size ranges or do not require a snug fit to the surface of the teeth, which significantly reduces the absorption efficiency of drug agents. It should be noted that the lining made for one tooth glad, in case of violation of their fastening, becomes unsafe because they can get into the respiratory tract of a person. Thus, the main disadvantage of the known devices is that they cannot suit people with different sizes of jaws and do not ensure the safety of their use.

The objective of this technical solution is to eliminate these drawbacks and create such a dental device, which will be easier to manufacture and can be conveniently and safely used for any type and size of jaws.

The problem is solved due to the creation of a dental lining for the delivery of medicines and hygiene products to the body, consisting of two separate right and left parts, each of which contains gutter-shaped upper and lower half arches, made with the possibility of covering, respectively, the upper and lower dentition, and having lateral external, lateral internal and transverse walls connecting them, generally forming the upper and lower gutters having a central end and a peripheral end, with upper and lower floors the arcs are arranged so that the side walls of the upper half arches are directed upwards with the possibility of covering the upper row of teeth, the side walls of the lower half arches are directed downward with: the possibility of covering the lower row of teeth, and the transverse walls of each pair of upper and lower half arches are movably connected to each other with their peripheral ends and are made with the ability to adjoin each other.

In each of the two parts, the upper and lower half-arcs are movably connected by connecting the peripheral ends 8 of the transverse walls 6. The center ends 7 of the half-arcs remain free, so that the upper and lower half-arcs can move relative to the place of their fastening, moving together with the jaws, i.e. a person can calmly open his mouth, talk, eat, etc.

The claimed dental pad is made of lightweight, flexible, durable, non-soaking and insoluble material (cellulose, cotton, fabric, plastic) safe for humans. The active substance (medicine, sorbent, antiseptic, etc.) is applied to the patch, which affects the teeth and oral cavity while the patch is on.

The overlay is used as follows. First, one part of the lining is inserted into the oral cavity, for example, in its right half, so that: the junction 8 of the upper and lower half arcs 2 and 3 is at the junction of the upper and lower jaw, and the gutters themselves. the upper 2 and lower 3 half-arcs would cover, respectively, the upper and lower row of teeth. Similarly, insert another part of the pad into the other half of the oral cavity. Fixing the lining on the dentition can be carried out in any known manner. Thus, an overlay for the entire row of teeth consisting of two separate parts is obtained. Moreover, the claimed pad is universal for any user, since the gap between the parts allows you to adapt it for any type and size of the jaws, due to the final location of these parts closer or further relative to each other. Moreover, these parts are made of such a size that when worn, they are suitable for use for children's teeth. In other words, the size of the halves is chosen so that when putting on children's teeth, the distance between the halves is minimal or completely absent: Indeed, as a result of application, for example, for the child’s teeth, the center ends of the right and left parts will be close to each other and the distance between them will be small even minimal. When used for the jaw of an adult, this distance will be increased. Thus, the installation of the lining does not require special sizes or adjustments. The implementation of each part of the lining consisting of two half arcs makes them voluminous, which prevents them from entering the human respiratory tract.

The action of the existing active substance begins from the moment it is moistened with either a liquid collected in the mouth or just saliva, in particular, it depends on the nature and properties of the active substance.

The patch can be either disposable or reusable, depending on the active substance used and the material of the patch. For example, in the manufacture of non-woven materials, the pad simply sticks to the teeth and oral mucosa due to getting wet. In the manufacture of polymeric materials and rubbers, fastening can be carried out using special hygienic gels or due to their elastic properties, since In the free state, the upper and lower half-arcs 2 and 3 tend to open around, the places of their fastening 8. This “open state”, in particular, further contributes to the prevention of the lining getting into the respiratory tract of a person.

The advantage of this insert is that due to dissection into the right and left parts, it provides full coverage of teeth and gums, regardless of the individual characteristics and dimensions of the jaw of a person. Accordingly, this overlay eliminates the need to make casts to teach an individual insert or the need to sell different sizes of overlays. At the same time, these halves are made 'of such a size that, when worn, they are suitable for use for children's teeth. In other words, the size of the halves is chosen so that when putting on children's teeth, the distance between the halves is minimal or completely absent. The upper and lower lining elements are interconnected at the base of the jaw, which makes them voluminous and, accordingly, protects against getting into the respiratory tract of a person.
