Abstract

FIELD: transportation, packing.

SUBSTANCE: cigarette carton comprising a box with two flaps, the front and top ones. The front flap has a fold line at the bottom, at the top separator surface level, and the top flap has a fold line at the top part of the back wall of the box and overlaps the top edge of the front flap. In the carton box, a separator with blank sockets for cigarettes is located, the height of which is ten millimetres less than the cigarette filter length. The separator sockets have circular bevels at the entrance, and their diametre is equal to the diametre of the cigarettes inserted into them. The carton has a cutter for cutting cigarettes, located at the right-hand wall of the carton box. The box, the flaps, and the separator are made of a non-combustible material, and the cutter is made of thin stainless steel.

EFFECT: possibility of repeated smoking of cigarettes, making it easy to finish off unsmoked cigarette.

Description

The invention relates to the production of packaging boxes for cigarettes.

As a prototype taken the invention under the name "Box for tobacco products" patent No. 2009088. Patent holder VOLSKY Yuri Nikolaevich. He is the author. Priority of the invention June 29, 1992. Extract from the description of the prototype from page 5:

"... If there is a desire to smoke again, the smoker takes out an undressed cigarette, lights it and continues smoking ..." The process of lighting a cigarette is not disclosed here. To light the tobacco of an under-smoked cigarette, it is necessary to remove its charred end. The smoker must break it off, which he does with his fingers, on which then there are traces of ash and soot. This is bad, and besides, the very moment of breaking off does not look very aesthetically pleasing.

This disadvantage is eliminated in the present invention.

A distinctive feature of the invention "Box for cigarettes" from the prototype is the presence of an additional device called a cutter mounted on the right side wall of the box (Figure 6, in the photo sheet 1). With the help of a cutter, a technical result is achieved, consisting in the convenience of using the box with multiple cigarette smoking. With it, the smoker cuts off the charred end of the under-smoked cigarette, without touching his fingers, not dirtying his hands.

DESIGN OF THE BOX FOR CIGARETTES

The invention is illustrated by drawings and photographs of the layout.

The cigarette box (FIG. 1) consists of a box 1 having a parallelepiped shape. The box has two covers - the upper hinged 5, conjugated with the body in its upper part with a fold line 6 located on the rear wall of the housing 1. The second cover - front 7 is made in the front wall of the box body with a fold line 8, located on the front wall below, at the level of the upper surface of the separator 3. The upper cover 5 in the closed position covers the upper section of the front cover 7, preventing it from opening unintentionally.

DESIGN OF THE SEPARATOR.

The separator 2 (Fig.3-5) is a liner in the lower part of the box, glued to its bottom, which is made by stamping from fireproof cardboard in compliance with the required number of blind sockets 3 (Fig.3-5). The depth of the blind nests should be ten millimeters shorter than the length of the cigarette filter. The diameter of the deaf nests should correspond to the diameter of the cigarette, which should fit tightly into it. The upper part of the nest is made with a chamfer 4, due to which cigarettes are inserted "without bullying" (Fig.3-5).

CUTTER DESIGN.

The cigarette box is equipped with a cutter: a device for cutting off the charred end of an under-smoked cigarette (Figure 6). The cutter consists of two thin steel plates interconnected by a rivet Z, which is at the same time the axis of rotation of the upper plate A. The lower plate B is fixed (glued) to the right side of the housing. At its ends, bends E are made to fix the plate A. At the upper end of the plate A, a circular hole C is made, which has a “sickle-shaped” sharpening inside to cut off the charred end of the under-smoked cigarette. The diameter of the hole should allow the cigarette to be freely inserted. At the lower end of plate A, a bend is made to rest the finger when trimming the end of the cigarette. The design of the torch is clearly shown in the photographs of the layout (Sheet 1, 2). In the factory version, the cutter should be covered with a decorative trim.

METHOD FOR USING A BOX FOR CIGARETTES

The smoker buys cigarettes packed in a box for cigarettes (in the boxes can be any cigarettes, both domestic and imported, with their existing names). Having removed the protective cellophane film, the smoker tilts the top cover of the box, and then the front one. After that, the smoker takes out the last cigarette from the nest (in the factory all cigarettes are inserted with their tobacco ends into the blind nests) and lights a cigarette, closing the box and putting it in his pocket. A cigarette box allows you to insert a non-smoked cigarette into a deaf socket with its smoldering end. The smoldering cigarette inserted into the blind nest goes out due to non-entry of air (oxygen) into the nest. If necessary, the smoker takes out an under-smoked cigarette, closes the box and turns the cutter plate 90 degrees clockwise, then feeds the cigarette with its carbonized end into the cutter hole and, by pressing the lower end of the cutter counterclockwise, cuts off the charred part of the under-smoked cigarette. He lights up. Having finished the filter, he does not throw it away, but inserts it into the socket. In this way, all cigarettes of the box are smoked and smoked, while the entire separator is “equipped” with filters. Next comes the most important moment in the smoker's actions - he hands this box, filled with filters and cigarette butts, to a tobacco kiosk or to a cigarette shop. For the delivery of this "smoking garbage", the seller of tobacco products gives a person a free new box with 2-3 cigarettes as a reward for the delivery of waste for recycling, like recyclables. Having smoked the received 2-3 cigarettes, a person saves the box, stuffing it with cigarette filters, which, for example, were offered to his colleagues. With the accumulation of ten "equipped" boxes, the smoker hands them over and receives a new full box for free. Thus, the city is cleared of smoking garbage by smokers themselves. In addition to the above, smoking with documentation gives the smoker a monetary saving, since having such a box a smoker can smoke a pack of cigarettes not in one day, but in one and a half to two days.

EXPECTED USEFUL TECHNICAL RESULTS FROM BOX FOR CIGARETTE

1. The main technical result of using a cigarette box is the elimination of fires due to abandoned cigarette butts.

2. Using a cigarette box will ensure cleanliness on the streets of the city, as smoking garbage will be handed over for a fee as recyclable materials.

3. The use of a cigarette box will expand the operational capabilities of smoking, since a half-smoked cigarette is not thrown away, and thanks to the box it is smoked the next time.

A cigarette box comprising a case with two hinged lids - a front one with a fold line at the bottom and a top with a fold line at the top of the back wall of the case and capturing the upper edge of the front cover, while a separator with blind cigarette slots is located in the case, the upper plane of which is at the level of the fold line of the front cover, characterized in that the separator has a height ten millimeters shorter than the length of the cigarette filter, and the diameter of the nests having ring bevels at the entrance is equal to the diameter of the cigarettes inserted into them; the box is equipped with a cutter for cutting cigarettes located on the outside of the box on its right wall, while the case, hinged lids and the separator are made of non-combustible material, and the cutter is made of thin stainless steel.
