Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately correspond the timing data with screen, by giving the accurate timing data to each screen signal without error, through the insertion of timing signal to a part of the blanking line of TV video signal. CONSTITUTION:The timing insertion and pickup unit for TV video signal is constituted with the timing signal insertion section a and the timing signal pickup section b, and the insertion section a is provided with the synchronizing detection section 12 and the delay circuit 13 inputting the TV video signal from the video camera 20. Further, the vertical synchronizing signal in the synchronizing signal t0 is detected at the detection section 12 from the video signal A, and the timing signal is inserted at the modulator 14, from the time t2 delayed with the circuit 13 until the timing not affecting the vertical synchronism of the vertical blanking period by taking the vertical synchronizing signal as the reference, and the timing signal and the original video signal A are synthesized at the synthesis circuit 18.
