Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a needle hole as fine as possible when the tissue is sutured in a surgical operation, and minimize the bleeding or tissue damage by tapering one end of a suture, and connecting a suturing needle having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the suture body part thereto. SOLUTION: A nylon yarn entirely having an uniform thickness is prepared, and a tapered yarn of a form in which only a part 14 close to one side tip is reduced in diameter as it approaches to the tip is manufactured. A suturing needle 15 having a thickness suitable to the yarn of this slender part or a diameter smaller than the diameter of the suture body part is prepared, and the tip of the tapered yarn is inserted and connected to a fine cylindrical recessed part 16 provided on the cut end part, whereby a suturing needle with tapered yarn is manufactured. Thus, a suturing needle slightly slender than a suture can be manufactured, and a trouble in operation such as bleeding can be sharply reduced.

[0004] The tip of each suture needle is machined to have a very sharp property so that the tissue can be penetrated with a small force of the surgeon and the tissue is not unnecessarily damaged. After the insertion of the suture into the cylindrical recess having a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the suture to be connected, the suture is added by adding an adhesive or pressing and deforming from the outer periphery of the recess. Due to the characteristics of such a structure, the diameter 4 of the hollow portion of the tissue formed by the perforation of the suture needle 3 is naturally larger than the diameter 5 of the suture as shown in the cross-sectional view at the time of tissue suturing in FIG. If the blood vessel 6 is present at the puncture site, the blood vessel 6 is damaged, and as a result, bleeding is observed from the needle hole 8 through the gap 7 between the suture and the cavity.

Further, even when it is necessary to suture with a certain thickness of suture in order to obtain the strength of the suturing portion, the thinner the suturing needle used for this is, the smaller the suturing needle used to obstruct other important tissues such as nerves. The likelihood of doing so is reduced.

As shown in FIG. 3, when a tissue is punctured by using a tapered needle having a smaller diameter as it is closer to the distal end of the same structure as a needle used for normal suturing, the first step is Tissue destruction occurs at the tip 9 of the needle,
The rear portion of the needle penetrates the tissue while expanding the needle hole while expanding or destroying the tissue while pushing and expanding the minute gap with the wedge-shaped portion 10.

As explained above, the first puncture of the tissue when penetrating the tissue with a suture needle with a suture thread uses a fine metal needle, and usually the tissue is pierced while pushing the tissue with a wedge-shaped portion of the needle. By adopting a means for assigning the threading role to the tapered portion of the suture, a thick thread can be inserted even into a small needle hole.

Embodiment 2 As shown in FIG. 6, a so-called knitting yarn, which is woven so as to wrap around a core yarn 17 inserted at the center with many intersecting yarns 18, is prepared. FIG. 7 shows that when the core yarn at the distal end side is pulled out and cut in 19 parts near the stump, the stumps of the yarn are gripped and pulled in the opposite direction.

According to the structure of the conventional suture needle with a suture thread, the diameter of the needle is naturally larger than that of the suture thread due to the structure in which the thread is inserted into the concave portion provided at the end of the needle. A gap is created between the tissue and the suture at the puncture site.
