nothing special

Therefore, conventionally, it takes time and labor to assemble an optical rosette, and the connector insertion performance is inferior, and the use of a fixing member has a problem that the rosette body becomes large.

Therefore, the present invention has been devised in view of the conventional circumstances as described above, and it is possible to reduce the space and size of the rosette body, and to improve the assembly performance and connector insertion performance. The purpose is to provide.

In order to solve the problems described above, in the present invention, in an optical rosette for protecting the connection point simultaneously with the relay connection between optical cable connectors,
In the optical rosette, a connector housing having a substantially U-shaped cross section protrudes integrally with the center of the upper surface of the base plate forming the rosette body so that the two optical connectors of the station side connector and the subscriber side connector can be connected to each other. It is configured as a square tube with openings at both ends,
A subscriber-side cover and a station-side cover that can be attached to and detached from the base plate;
The station side cover is fitted from above the base plate so as to cover the entire portion where the station side connector is inserted and arranged in the connector housing of the base plate,
The subscriber-side cover is provided with a locking claw as an engaging means at the center of the upper surface of the open end of the subscriber-side cover, and covers the entire portion of the base plate where the subscriber-side connector is inserted and disposed. The locking claw is fitted into a claw recess as an engaging means which is slid toward the open end of the local cover and is recessed in the upper center of the open end of the local cover, and above the base plate. Mated,
At the position where the subscriber side connector is incompletely connected to the connector housing on the base plate, the engagement side of the engagement means and the claw hook recess are prevented from being engaged inside the subscriber side cover, It is characterized by having a projection that is locked to the rear part of the subscriber side connector .

The base plate has an opening for inserting each member of the split sleeve, sleeve holder, leaf spring shutter plate and setting it in the connector housing, so that the opening is closed after each member is set. The opening is provided with a lower lid.

The shutter plate with a leaf spring includes a shutter plate that closes the fitting portion in an oblique arrangement at a fitting portion of the optical connector of the connector housing, and a leaf spring that biases the shutter plate in a closing direction, The shutter plate is opened against the pressing force of the leaf spring by fitting the optical connector to the fitting portion of the connector housing.

According to the present invention, in the optical rosette, the connector housing having a substantially U-shaped cross section is integrally formed at the substantially upper center of the base plate forming the rosette body so that the two optical connectors of the station side connector and the subscriber side connector can be connected to each other. since it is configured by a both open ends of the rectangular tube by being projected becomes enables space saving and size reduction of the rosette body, yet also improved assembly performance and connector insertion performance.

The base plate has an opening for inserting each member of the split sleeve, sleeve holder, leaf spring shutter plate and setting it in the connector housing, so that the opening is closed after each member is set. Since the opening is provided with a lower lid, it is easy to set each member in the connector housing, and by forming the lower lid so that it can be opened, it is possible to perform maintenance inspections, repairs and replacements of each member. These members can be easily disassembled.

A subscriber-side cover and a station-side cover that can be attached to and detached from the base plate. The subscriber side cover is provided with a locking claw as an engaging means in the center of the upper surface of the open end of the subscriber side cover, and the subscriber side connector is inserted into the connector housing in the base plate. It slides toward the open end of the front station side cover so as to cover the whole, and the locking claw is fitted into a claw hook recess as an engaging means provided in the center on the upper side of the open end of the station side cover. together, so fitted to the base plate upward, it is possible to remove the subscriber side cover to protect the high insertion frequency connectors easily, protects the SC connector of low station of insertion frequently station The cover can be kept firmly fixed so as not to be removed easily.

At the position where the subscriber side connector is incompletely connected to the connector housing on the base plate, the engagement side of the engagement means and the claw hook recess are prevented from being engaged inside the subscriber side cover, Since the protrusion locked at the rear part of the subscriber-side connector is provided, it is possible to prevent the optical connector from being covered with the subscriber-side cover in an incompletely connected state with respect to the connector housing.

The shutter plate with a leaf spring includes a shutter plate that closes the fitting portion in an oblique arrangement at a fitting portion of the optical connector of the connector housing, and a leaf spring that biases the shutter plate in a closing direction, Since the optical connector is fitted to the fitting part of the connector housing so that the shutter plate is opened against the pressing force of the leaf spring, it is possible to save space for the optical connection adapter. Moreover, the assembly performance is improved. In particular, compared to the method of obtaining the same function with the coil spring and rotating shaft in the existing product, the number of parts can be reduced and the assembly performance can be improved. Etc. can be eliminated. In addition, since the shutter plate is arranged obliquely and closes the fitting portion, it is possible to avoid the contact of the ferrule core portion of the optical connector to be inserted with the shutter plate surface, thereby contaminating the optical connector end surface and reducing the performance. Can be prevented beforehand.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
The optical rosette according to the present invention is used to protect the connection point at the same time as the optical fiber cable optical connectors, for example, the two optical fibers of the subscriber side connector P1 and the station side SC connector P2. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a one-touch detachable subscriber-side cover 3 with respect to the base plate 2 of the rosette body 1 and a tool G such as a driver that cannot be easily removed. It is provided with a fitting-side local cover 4 that can be removed by use.

At this time, the base plate 2 is provided with screw holes 2a at both ends, or one side of the double-sided adhesive tape is adhered to the entire back surface of the base plate 2, and the wall surface in the room where the local SC connector P2 is introduced and arranged. Further, it is fixed with a screw (not shown) through the screw hole 2a, or another pressure-sensitive adhesive surface that has been affixed in advance is pressed and fixed.

As shown in FIG. 5, the station side cover 4 of the fitting system is formed in a tunnel shape having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and the station side SC connector P2 in the base plate 2 having a rectangular band plate shape. Is fitted from the upper side so as to cover the entire part to be inserted and arranged. That is, as shown in FIG. 6, fitting protrusions 4a are formed on the lower opening end of the station side cover 4 so as to be inward of each other, and correspondingly integrated with a base plate 2 described later. A fitting recess 5a is formed at the lower edge of the vertical groove formed on both side surfaces of the connector housing 5, and the fitting cover 4 is fitted into the fitting recess 5a, whereby the local cover 4 is attached to the base plate 2. It is firmly fixed. Then, when removing the station side cover 4 from the base plate 2, a tool G such as a minus driver is inserted into the minus groove portion 6 provided at one end of the station side cover 4 and pry open.

Further, as the subscriber-side cover 3 of the one-touch attachment / detachment method, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 8, the subscriber-side cover 3 is formed in a box frame shape having a substantially U-shaped cross section with one end opened, and engaging means. For example, a protrusion-like locking claw 7 is provided at the center of the upper surface of the open end of the subscriber-side cover 3. Then, it is dropped downward so as to cover the entire portion where the subscriber-side connector P1 is inserted and arranged on the base plate 2 of the rectangular band plate shape, and then slides toward the open end of the front station side cover 4, The protrusion-like locking claw 7 is fitted into a claw-hanging recess 8 serving as an engaging means that is provided in the center on the upper side of the open end of the side cover 4. At this time, when removing the subscriber-side cover 3 from the base plate 2, the upper side of the open end of the subscriber-side cover 3 is pushed downward slightly to separate the locking claw 7 from the claw-hanging recess 8, and then the subscriber. If the side cover 3 is slid rearward, it can be easily opened without the tool G.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a tunnel-shaped connector housing 5 for connecting the two optical connectors P1 and P2 is integrally formed at the approximate center of the upper surface of the base plate 2 of the rosette body 1. Yes. In other words, the connector housing 5 has a substantially U-shaped tunnel-shaped connector housing 5 made of a synthetic resin and integrated with the center of the upper surface of the base plate 2 so that the two optical connectors P1 and P2 can be connected to each other. The connector housing 5 is provided with a fitting portion A of the subscriber side connector P1 and a fitting portion B of the station side SC connector P2 so that the optical axes coincide with each other. I have.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 7, the tunnel-shaped connector housing 5 is formed in a rectangular tube shape having both ends opened integrally with the upper side wall and the left and right side walls. In the center, a pair of left and right joining end wall members 27 having a substantially U-shaped frame shape are disposed, and the fitting ends of one fitting portion A are opened obliquely upward. Moreover, the connection end in the other fitting part B is opened in the horizontal direction.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2, each member of a split sleeve 9, a sleeve holder 10, and a shutter plate 11 with a leaf spring, which will be described later, is inserted into the connector housing 5 in the approximate center of the base plate 2. An opening 24 is formed and fixed to the opening 24 by, for example, screwing, patching, or bonding so that the opening 24 is closed after the members 9, 10, 11 are accommodated. The lower lid 25 is provided.

Further, as shown in FIG. 7, a locking groove portion 12 which is a straight groove along the optical axis direction is formed in the center of the upper side wall of one fitting portion A, and a shutter plate 11 described later is inclined. When the fitting end of the fitting portion A is closed in the arrangement, the locking protrusion 13 protruding from the center of the upper end of the shutter plate 11 is locked to the locking groove portion 12. A guide groove 14 is formed on the upper side wall of the other fitting portion B from the connection end toward the inside.

One of the pair of left and right joining end wall members 27 arranged at the center of the connector housing 5 has one cylinder 10a projecting toward the fitting end, and the other joining end wall member 27. The other cylinder 10b is formed toward the connecting end, and both the cylinders 10a and 10b are engaged with each other by fitting the joint end wall members 27 through fitting claws so that the central axes coincide with each other on the optical axis. By doing so, the sleeve holder 10 is formed.

When the sleeve holder 10 is assembled into the connector housing 5, as shown in FIG. 1, the joining end wall members 27 are joined to each other with the cylindrical split sleeve 9 mounted inside the sleeve holder 10. After each joint end wall member 27 is fitted and held in the fitting groove 26 formed in the center of the upper surface of the lower lid 25, the lower lid 25 is attached and fixed to the opening 24 of the base plate 2. In addition, latch pieces for the optical connectors P1 and P2 are formed between the respective cylinders 10a and 10b and the side walls at the left and right symmetrical positions of the joint end wall members 27.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 7, a shutter for closing the fitting end in the same oblique arrangement as the fitting end is provided at the fitting end that is an oblique opening in one fitting portion A. The plate 11 is provided so that it can be opened and closed inside. That is, the shutter plate 11 has a support shaft 15 integrally projecting at the lower left and right symmetrical positions of the shutter plate 11, and the projecting ends of both ends of the support shaft 15 straddle the left and right side walls from the left and right side walls at the left and right opposing positions. The shaft hole 16 formed in this manner is rotatably supported. A rectangular opening 17 is formed in the approximate center where the lower end of the shutter plate 11 and the support shaft 15 are connected.

When the shutter plate 11 is assembled into the connector housing 5, as shown in FIG. 1, a leaf spring 18 formed by bending the shutter plate 11 into a substantially L shape via the opening 17 of the shutter plate 11 is supported by a support shaft. 15 is fitted to the center, and one end of the leaf spring 18 is brought into pressure contact with the lower lid 25 attached to the opening 24 of the base plate 2, and the other end is brought into pressure contact with the inner surface of the shutter plate 11. 11 is a state biased in the closing direction.

At this time, the locking protrusion 13 protruding from the center of the upper end of the shutter plate 11 is locked to the locking groove 12. The opening 17 is always closed by the elastic force of the leaf spring 18. Further, the leaf spring 18 is arranged such that one end of the leaf spring 18 extends to the optical axis when the shutter plate 11 is brought into pressure contact with the inside of the fitting end in one fitting portion A of the connector housing 5. It has enough length.

Thus, the shutter plate 11 is opened against the pressing force of the leaf spring 18 by fitting the connector P1 on the subscriber side to one fitting portion A of the connector housing 5.
A pair of left and right guide pieces 22 are erected on the base plate 2 so as to face the other fitting portion B, and guide the insertion of the local SC connector P2 into the other fitting portion B.

In addition, a guide member 21 having an inclined guide 20 on the protrusion 19 is attached to the left and right symmetrical positions above the outer surface of the shutter plate 11, and a subscriber who fits into one fitting portion A of the connector housing 5. The side connector P1 is guided and the shutter plate 11 is held in a horizontal position.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, a substantially U-shaped or arch-shaped locking protrusion 23 is provided on the inner side of the subscriber-side cover 3 to be locked to the rear portion P1-a of the connector P1 on the subscriber side. When the connector P1 on the subscriber side is half-inserted into one of the fitting portions A of the connector housing 5, the locking protrusion 23 is connected to the connector P1 on the subscriber side. It is locked to the rear portion P1-a to prevent the connector P1 itself from sliding, thereby preventing the engagement of the engagement means in advance.

Further, the station side cover 4 can use, for example, a wiring protection member such as a wire protector molding, an optical staple, or the like via a square cylindrical connecting cover at the rear part thereof.

Next, an example of assembly, use, and operation of the best mode configured as described above will be described.
When assembling the rosette body 1, as shown in FIG. 3, the upper side of the open end of the subscriber-side cover 3 is pushed slightly downward to separate the locking claw 7 from the claw-hanging recess 8, and then the subscriber-side cover 3 is removed. Slide backward to open. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 4, a tool G such as a minus screwdriver is inserted into the minus-shaped groove 6 provided at one end of the station side cover 4 to pry it open.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the joining end wall members 27 are joined to each other in a state in which the cylindrical split sleeve 9 is attached to the inside of the sleeve holder 10, and the fitting grooves 26 of the lower lid 25 are joined to the fitting grooves 26. The joining end wall member 27 is fitted and held. Further, the leaf spring 18 is fitted to the center of the support shaft 15 through the opening 17 of the shutter plate 11 and then inserted into the connector housing 5 through the opening 24 of the base plate 2. Then, the lower lid 25 is attached to the opening 24 of the base plate 2 to accommodate the sleeve holder 10 in the connector housing 5. At this time, one end of the leaf spring 18 is brought into pressure contact with the lower lid 25 attached to the opening 24 of the base plate 2, and the other end is brought into pressure contact with the inner surface of the shutter plate 11.

As shown in FIG. 11 (a), the connector P1 on the subscriber side and the SC connector P2 on the station side are placed on the base plate 2 so as to face each other, and both connectors are connected as shown in FIG. 11 (b). P1 and P2 are fitted into one fitting portion A and the other fitting portion B of the connector housing 5, respectively.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 11 (b), the subscriber-side connector P1 is fitted into one fitting portion A by means of a leaf spring 18 before the fitting of the connector P1. Although the fitting end in the joint A is closed, as shown in FIG. 11C, the shutter plate 11 is pushed by the connector P1, and resists the elastic force of the leaf spring 18. The shutter plate 11 tilts inside the fitting end.

When the connector P1 is further pushed in, as shown in FIG. 11 (d), the shutter plate 11 is in a horizontal state, and the connector P1 is attached to the inclined guide 20 in the protrusion 19 of the guide member 21 formed above the outer surface. Move while being guided.

When the connector P1 is completely pushed in, the elastic force of the leaf spring 18 holds the connector P1 firmly between the protrusion 19 of the guide member 21 and the upper side wall of the connector housing 5. Become.

Thus, as shown in FIGS. 11 (e) and 11 (f), the connection between the connectors P1 and P2 is completed.

Then, as shown in FIGS. 11 (g) and 11 (h), the station side cover 4 is fitted into the base plate 2 from the upper side to cover the entire part where the station side SC connector P2 is inserted and arranged. At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, the fitting protrusion 4 a of the local cover 4 is fitted into the fitting recess at the lower edge of the vertical groove of the connector housing 5 integrated with the base plate 2. The station side cover 4 is firmly fixed to the plate 2.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 11 (i) and 11 (j), the subscriber-side cover 3 is dropped onto the base plate 2 and then slid toward the open end of the front-side station-side cover 4. By fitting a projection-like locking claw 7 into a claw-hanging recess 8 provided in the center on the upper side of the open end of the side cover 4, the entire portion of the base plate 2 where the connector P1 on the subscriber side is inserted and arranged is covered. .

At this time, as shown in FIG. 10, when the connector P1 on the subscriber side is half-inserted into one fitting portion A of the connector housing 5, the locking projection 23 is Since it is locked to the rear part P1-a of the connector P1 on the subscriber side and the sliding of the connector P1 itself is prevented, the engagement of the engaging means is prevented in advance.

If necessary, the station side cover 4 is provided with a protective member for wiring such as a wire protector molding or an optical staple via a square cylindrical connecting cover at the rear part thereof.
