Abstract

The catheter comprises an outer sleeve contg. several tubes each with its inlet end extending separately from the outer end of the catheter. Pref. one tube only has an outlet corresp. with the axial orifice at the inner end of the catheter. The other tubes discharge via lateral orifices in the wall of the sleeve near the inner end of the catheter. Pref. a spiral guide wire or leader is extended through the tube with axial orifice in order to allow the catheter to be introduced by the Seldinger method.

Description

The present invention relates to a catheter allowing infusion by direct connection to several bottles of solute, this catheter comprising a tube with several conduits each provided with a separate feeding system and opening at the distal end through an orifice. separate.

In the known devices for the simultaneous admission of several solutes, the connection of the arrivals is carried out upstream of a single-line catheter, for example by a ramp of taps or by various fittings with lateral bypass, which causes the disturbance of the flow of each of the solutes in application of the principle of communicating vessels.

The object of the present invention is to improve the admission of the various solutes by their separation in conspiracy until their exit into the vessel.

This object is produced by means of a tube (1) at the conical proximal end (2) comprising several conduits <3) (4) (5) (6). This tube forms a catheter thanks to a main conduit (s) and a centered orifice (7) through which one can introduce a spiral guide (13) which itself allows the introduction of the catheter into the vessel according to the technique of
Dr. Seldinger. In parallel with the main conduit (5) there are one or more other conduits (3) (4) (6) each opening out through a lateral orifice (8) (9) 1a) of the catheter. At its conical proximal end 2) the catheter has separate inlets (each equipped with a standard Luer connector (12) which can be connected to the tubes of the solute vials, either directly or with a tap allowing the cutting of one or more the other of the power supplies.

This catheter with several conduits is made of synthetic material, preferably opaque to X-rays.
