Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant la transmission de messages courts d'un terminal mobile faisant partie d'un réseau externe, à une unité de messages courts externe, ainsi qu'un dispositif servant à mettre en oeuvre le procédé. L'invention a pour objet de permettre à un téléphone mobile (1) faisant partie d'un réseau externe quelconque (10), d'atteindre une unité de messages courts (8), par exemple une application logiciel, qui fonctionne sur un ordinateur dans un réseau de données (9). A cet effet, la demande faite par la centrale de messages courts (12) du réseau externe (10), au réseau domestique (7), par l'intermédiaire du numéro du destinataire de l'unité de messages courts externe (8), s'effectue auprès d'un registre HLR virtuel (14) du réseau domestique (7), ledit registre répondant à la demande par une confirmation qui continent des informations relatives à une unité de transmission virtuelle (15) faisant partie du réseau domestique (7) et servant à la transmission du message court (SMS) à l'unité de messages courts externe (8).
