Abstract

The bed frame (1) has two fixed side frames (2) holding hinged movable side frames (4-6'). A short section (5) may be fastened to the inner faces of the fixed side frames. Hinges (8) at the ends of the movable frame sections have toothed fastenings (9) which allow the ends of the movable side frames to be set at an angle to each other, forming a contoured bed. Sprung slats (7) extend between the movable side frames.
