Abstract

Cette invention concerne des végétaux hétérologues qui, ne produisant pas à l'origine de stilbènes et ne présentant donc pas les bienfaits apportés par les stilbènes, ont été modifiés pour produire des quantités importantes de glucoside de resvératrol. De tels végétaux transgéniques ou des cellules de végétaux de ce type peuvent être utilisés directement ou dans des préparations de compositions pouvant être administrées en tant que nourriture, complément nutritionnel, complément nutritionnel pour animaux, alicament, ou produit pharmaceutique pour leurs bienfaits nutritionnels ou thérapeutiques.
