Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører agglomerering eller brikettering av et mineral i findelt granulær tilstand på under 5 mm for smelting, som kan være blandet med finstoffer, ved konglomerering av mineralet med et bindemiddel fremstilt av i det minste natriumsilikat, akrylharpiks, vinylalkohol, boraks, magnesiumklorid og om nødvendig under smelting, en antioksidant, så som natrium. De sammenbundne konglomerater eller briketter har meget gode styrkeegenskaper.The invention relates to agglomeration or briquetting of a mineral in a finely divided granular state of less than 5 mm for melting, which may be mixed with fines, by conglomerating the mineral with a binder made of at least sodium silicate, acrylic resin, vinyl alcohol, borax, magnesium chloride and if necessary during melting, an antioxidant such as sodium.
