Kerb Kit is an open design system for visualizing curbs, crossings, streets, and sidewalk features. It provides pre-made templates and modular design elements that collaborators can use to quickly assemble consistent scenes in vector graphics tools like Inkscape, Affinity Designer, or Adobe Illustrator.
The Kerb Kit Library folder will contain all visual assets and organized under specific themes to support mapping and education. Tiles are reusable 3D-like components designed to snap directly into any artistic environment. They use a 2:1 isometric perspective making them compatible with any square grid spacing (36px by default). Tiles can be assembled into scenes depicting features of the pedestrian environment and mapping guidance.
Check out our contributing guidelines to get started, understand the asset types, and learn how to make compatible illustrations!
