languages-badge is powered by GitHub Actions and Issues to create badges that list the languages used in your repositories. Using shields.io for that professional, classic and uniform look.
- Submit an issue using the Language Badge Issue Template
- The title must not contain the user/repo. Anything else is free game.
- Enter the
user/repo
of the repository you are creating the badge for. - Ensure you use the label badge-request or the issue will be ignored by the workflow.
- Optionally add text for the label on the lefthand side of the badge
- Optionally add a label to the issue for badge color, currently implemented:
- Create the issue and wait. GitHub Actions will take the job, and respond to the issue with a link when the badge is created. It will close the issue automatically, if you can't find it check your email. Then, you can use that link to embed into your README, website, forum or wherever.
