Description

I packaged libfive for MacPorts (macports/macports-ports#26412) and noticed that using -D__USE_ISOC99 is also necessary on this system to avoid Boost.Interval errors. I am referring to:

libfive/CMakeLists.txt

Lines 85 to 88 in 7189931

# Work around an issue with Boost::Interval on OpenBSD and MinGW on Windows
if ("${CMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME}" STREQUAL "OpenBSD" OR MINGW)
set(CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS "${CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS} -D__USE_ISOC99")
endif()

I am not sure if the same is needed for all macOS configurations. I am using macOS 14.7, Boost 1.76.

Versions

  • Operating system: macOS 14.7 on arm64
  • libfive commit hash: 7189931
    • Is this the latest commit to master? yes
  • Qt version (if applicable): 5.12
