I'm a researcher (PhD candidate) specializing in gamma-ray astronomy with a master's degree in physics. My day-to-day work revolves around unraveling the mysteries of the universe through data: I develop algorithms for Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes and spend a lot of time on data analysis and visualization.
- 🖥️ Coding: Python & ROOT are my main tools of choice (the latter out of necessity ;P).
- 📊 Expertise: Data analysis, scientific visualization, algorithm development, software management, containerization, and deployment.
- 🛰️ Passion: Pushing the boundaries of astroparticle physics and building robust scientific software.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for gamma-ray analysis, based on improved Instrument Response Functions (IRFs)
- Create insightful visualizations to make complex data accessible
- Maintain and deploy scientific software
Outside the lab, I serve as a volunteer EMT 🚑 — giving back to my community and always ready to help in emergencies.
