There is a toolchains_gcc fork (https://github.com/skarlsson/toolchains_gcc/tree/arm64-from-prebuilt) that uses this and on top of that there is a eclipse-score baselibs fork (https://github.com/skarlsson/baselibs/tree/arm64-support) that successfully builds baselibs for arm64

Check just needed to be redone, it did work now.

However I do not have any knowledge in this Repo, so I can't 'factually' review the PR if it's sound or not.

and you also need to tag, rebuild and add the resulting binaries to a release to make this usable. when done there are two more pullrequest comming on toolchains_gcc and baselibs.

I'll merge for now so we don't block anyone. AFAIK all these toolchains need to be reworked anyway?? We'll see.

@skarlsson did you test the new cross compiling with any of the current modules?
