I have the problem that every time I do system upgrades the download speed is basically link speed when using the cache. This means that if I do this while listening to music from my media server, which also uses the same link, the audio stops / sometimes I even have to restart the media server (I do not know how not being able to send data could result in a need to restart lol)

My proposed solution would be that I could tell it to limit the speed to 900 Mbit or something like that so I still have 100 Mbit free for my gigabit connection
