Our mission is to accelerate innovation in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) by delivering reliable, standards-based solutions for Vechile-to-Everything (V2X) communication, simulation, and testing.

With a strong focus on open-source collaboration, we empower researchers, developers, and industry leaders to build, validate, and deploy next-generation mobility technologies that make transportation safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Open-source Projects

We lead the development of two key open-source projects:

  • Vanetza - the ETSI-compliant ITS communication stack,
  • Artery - a powerful V2X simulation framework.

Vanetza

Vanetza is an open-source implementation of the ETSI ITS protocol suite, providing the foundation for secure and interoperable V2X communication. Learn more here:

Artery

Artery enables V2X simulations based on ETSI ITS-G5 protocols like GeoNetworking and BTP. Single vehicles can be equipped with multiple ITS-G5 services through Artery's middleware, which also provides common facilities for these services. Learn more here:
