Systems Engineer | Linux and HCI Infrastructure | Enterprise Homelab Enthusiast

I'm a Systems Engineer specializing in Virtualized infrastructure with a strong focus on enterprise environments. I enjoy managing and automating complex systems, running a sophisticated homelab that mirrors enterprise-grade infrastructure.

🔭 Current Homelab Stuff

My homelab is a hands-on playground that closely mirrors enterprise infrastructure. It's been a challenging but rewarding journey—setting up, integrating, and automating all these systems has taught me a lot about troubleshooting, resilience, and real-world IT.

  • Portainer EE for container management
  • Traefik as ingress controller and reverse proxy
  • Zitadel for authentication
  • All HTTPS traffic signed by a private PKI using HashiCorp Vault

Monitoring & Observability

  • Checkmk for infrastructure monitoring
  • Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger for metrics, dashboards, and tracing

Self-Hosted Applications

  • Technitium DNS Server (primary & secondary)
  • Vaultwarden (self-hosted Bitwarden)
  • Planka, Wallos, IT-Tools, PWPusher
  • GitLab for code and CI/CD
