Speaking of navigation feature (assuming GPS is good), in the promotional video by Fitbit you can see that navigation feature is being used while exercising. On Sense 2 you can't use navigation app at the same time while tracking an exercise, does this mean on Charge 6 now we have multitasking? (personal opinion: no, it's just false advertising)

The problem is that Fitbit adds always half baked functions, in this case not even a fully baked music control rather a simpler YouTube music controller that even require YouTube Premium to work.

I agree with @N8teGee . However Fitbit is not new to remove features that users/customers takes for granted when upgrading (remember when we discovered the lack of Google Assistant or, even better, the laxk of any music capabilities from the flagships Versa 4, Sense 2 or, to remain in the Charge series, when they removed the altimeter in the Charge 5?). Now removing the possibility to change clock faces oh boy, that would something very special!!! [Sarcastic mode OFF]

@Rich_Laue Fitbit provides API to retried body fat (see here ) However this is not strictly a Web Api issue, indeed it's the Fitbit APP (in this case, the reasoning is the same for other apps) that need to integrate the Health Connect module to provide the data outside (in Health Connect terms we say to write). You can read more here. So it's not Google Health Connect that need to retrieve the data, rather Fitbit that needs to write them. Unfortunately also Fitbit moderators fail to understand this and wrongly closed several feature requests with the same "solution". However Fitbit, despite being Google, badly implemented the Health Connect module, not only it limits the quantities of data it writes(as opposed to Withings for example), it even fails to read every single data from outside and I can't understand why. For example: it could easily implement reading from nutritions apps, from running apps (for example I might run with another device or app and have my run imported in Fitbit and this would be very interesting as I would prefer, like my case, to use my Polar with H10 chest band for excellent data and then import the data in Fitbit, even via Google Fit as a middle point)

@TerryCiaraI'm quite sure the problem comes from the fact that your both phones have both accounts and therefore the play store (or app store, not sure about how this work) can't differentiate the accounts properly. My suggestion would be for your wife to remove momentarily your account from her phone, claim the Fitbit premium subscription and then restore your account.

I received it few hours ago: not impressed. Material design is poorly implemented, no dark theme, many subsections (like heart rate) are still the old ones, the top suggestions to have more than one fitbit device linked is still not implemented.

@LizzyFitbit I have some news: - the additional child profile I created for testing has been regularly delete as per my request. - my original child profile (and that is a real person) is still there, at this moment it is something like 3 months I have been asking its deletion and this is very concerning. How is possible that Fitbit has no control on its own database and system and can't help with what is my rightful request? An urgent solution of the matter is needed.

I actually didn't however I was checking Ifixit guide and they rate the operation difficult. The reason it seems that requires soldering of the actual battery. The spare battery is available at Aliexpress for example and it is very cheap, I would give it a try if I were you. Because I agree with you, Fitbit Blaze was an excellent Fitbit device, back when Fitbit really put passion in what it was doing.

@LizzyFitbit I'm not sure what you're suggesting: the users are asking to set up the Fitbit for their kids who are under Google Supervised account and you're telling him to use a regular account? If @TomC_BE, out of frustration, decided to have her daugther to use a regular account, this couldn't be the solution for parents like @Taekwondoforfun , @CheesyMom , @PapaGoose08 and hundreds of other users who might be in the same situation.

Sense and Versa 3/4 HR sensor is just a random number generator, nothing to add. If you're serious about trakcing your HR while working out consider to switch brand. Sorry to say.

@KateDogg76 You have to switch to your kid profile, you will be told that you will cancel the profile deletion process. Once done you can start again the deletion request. You will get then an email stating that the process has started and the deletion will succed in one week. "Fun" fact: it's already more than 2 weeks that I reinitiated the process. @LizzyFitbit I'm sure that the team has been informed, I'm not so sure they're actually doing something about it, my experience is a proof.

Find attached screenshot, the second child account was just created to check the statement What @Egroeg1980 is experiencing is the total mess of the Fitbit Family account that is in place since months. There are many users that are experiencing issues and Fitbit looks having no interest to fix them.

My experience with Fitbit tells me that one of the following options could be valid: 1) They don't care about it and we will never have a resolution of the problem 2) They have no clue how to solve and we will never have a resolution of the problem 3) The problem has a very low priority and will be solved in due time.... Conclusion: don't hold your breath, The fact that my personal data are blocked in Fitbit server without any possibility to have them deleted is a GDPR violation.

To keep the topic alive I contacted support and they were not able to solve the matter while on chat. They offered to follow up by mail and all I got was an email stating I initiated the procedure to delete my entire account (as tutor, not as child) that I stopped immediately. This is embarrassing

Not sure what you want to do. If you want to use Google fit to import data on Fitbit this is unfortunately not possible as Fitbit only send data to Google Fit, not the other way around.

I have the same issue. I followed the procedure to remove my child from my family account, 2 weeks passed and never got any confirmation of deletion (and the child is still present). If I request cancellation again I have a toast message saying that a deletion process is already in progress.

On your (guardian) profile settings check that you're allowing to receive all notifications via emails, I think the one related family account is something about promotions (?). In doubt activate all notifications, make again the procedure to request kid account deletion and wait those infamous 7 days. Sorry for not accurate explanation but I gave away my son's device.
