Late posting today but I just wanted to rework the helicopter SDW design 😮💨 the older design was just kinda hard to keep up with plus I’ve learnt a lot more bout helicopters since then and yaddy yadda,,, I still liked the head design so I pretty much kept that but the chest was the hardest to do… so I redid mostly that part
getting lost in boston is fun because I turned around on a street corner three times and some guy yelled "hey stupid! the bus is that way!" very helpful interaction and accurate insult, 10/10 no notes
one time I walked around a building a couple times looking for a bathroom and this guy went "this bitch thinks she's on a merrygoround, where the fuck are you tryna go? bathroom? one floor down to the right behind the door that says bathroom."
Genuine question: when someone helps and insults you in the same breath, do you respond by thanking them? A wave? Silence? What is the reply
well with bus guy I yelled "THANK YOU" across the street and he hollered "I'd tell you to get lost but you already are!" and then cackled to himself
Colorado has voted to fund universal free school lunches by raising taxes on people earning more than $300,000 a year. Any excess funds can be used to fill in the gap for federal cuts to SNAP food aid
Via bsky: this is how it looked on the ballot. A simple idea simply explained.

As A Straight™ it remains absolutely baffling to me the number of straight women who act repulsed by men's bodies. Literally what are you getting out of this*
(*the weird pretense that you're not horny for d*ck and/or straightness; interpret as you will)
I don't care enough about the Today Show to investigate further but apparently there was some kerfuffle in which the phrase "hairy man thighs" was used in a derogatory and body-shaming manner?????????
Absolutely unhinged slander against one of THE most compelling parts of the male anatomy. Please send all the hairy man thighs my way since you obviously neither appreciate nor deserve them
You say "hairy man thighs" in a tone that suggests I'm NOT getting distracted while watching men's soccer because my lizardbrain is going awooga like a dude with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition
You. You understand me
Exhibit #43719 of people calling anyone who doesn't perform Femininity™ correctly a ~pick me~ as if this is somehow a win for feminism lol. Oh no, I'm not repulsed by the bodies of people I sleep with and I find it bizarre when other people claim to be. Must be my internalized misogyny showing.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway what I actually think would be a win for feminism is if women would examine why they do this. Is it performative disavowal of desire because society shames them for expressing any hint of authentic sexuality? Is it genuine repulsion toward sex with men and/or sex in general? In either case, sad and concerning! You deserve better than the chains of gender roles and/or compulsive heterosexuality!
Also, as a general matter of human decency, I think body-shaming is bad and that you should be nice to the people you sleep with. We all agree that men who claim to be attracted to adult women whilst acting revolted if she has a speck of hair anywhere below her eyebrows - or whatever other aspect of her existing in a normal human body as opposed to being like. a disembodied concept of Female™ - are the most joyless erotically impoverished pathetic losers imaginable. Call me crazy but imho women should not emulate the behavior of the most boorish and boring brand of straight man.
By rehearsing the view that ‘men are the worst’ while continuing to pursue romantic and sexual attachments with them, we perform an othering gesture that shores up the purity or innocence of our own identities. We may love men, we declare, but we barely enjoy it, okay?; we are embarrassed; we are not contaminated by them; we are not they. In other words, we get to continue to be ‘women’. Perhaps, semi-unconsciously, we had worried that the very category of ‘women’ had become untenable. If we can only continue to reproduce the category ‘men’ loudly enough, then, we wager, the category ‘women’ might stay safe.
