- she always tried to help everyone in every way she could

- i like to think she was the youngest of three older brothers (they are 3, 4 and 7 years older)
- she was half italian from her father's side
- they lived above the family's gelateria on diagon alley in a small apartment
- as a child, she learned to yell to be heard
- she and frank were childhood friends, having met while alice's father was called to a birthday party hosted by the longbottoms
- her mother wasn't home much, always gone on some business trip
- she had adhd, she was moving all the time, got sidetracked while speaking, so she ended up talking about something entirely different all the time and had difficulty with concentrating on things she wasn't interested in
- they visited their grandparents' (from her father's side) house, which was in the countryside, a lot. she and her brothers played quidditch in the backyard. they made her be the keeper
- she was OBSESSED with quidditch, especially the holyhead harpies, she had a bunch of merch, watched all of their games, bought every single book about them and knew literally everything there was to know about them
- she tried cutting her hair at the age of 7, but ended up hating it and crying. her father found her and gave her a proper haircut.

- i think she would have been friends with molly prewett, even though she was a couple of years older, frank (obvi), who i like to think they were on a james & sirius level with, like literal twins and the valkyries once they came to hogwarts (i hc alice to be 2 years above them)

- i personally think she was the "second favourite child" after andromeda. i think her mother didn't like her, because she saw too much of herself in narcissa and i think cygnus disliked her because he thought she was a bastard due to her appearance.
- as a little kid, she was alone a lot. her sisters were very close, almost like twins and often let her behind to play by herself. she entertained herself by imagining stories, reading and drawing.
- had dificulty with identifying her emotions
- had a strange and unhealthy obsession with death. she sneaked into the family's library and read books about ancient rituals, the origin of thestrals, death in myths, potions, plants, basically anything connected to it.
- she also found greek mythology fascinating
- narcissa didn't understand social clues, she memorized them to stay alive and later learned to form them to her advantag
- she was on the spectrum. sometimes, she would go non-verbal for days, she only ate her three comfort foods, got overstimulated very quickly, which resulted in her shutting down often
- she loved playing quidditch (she was a seeker), because it made her head clear
- she loves ballet (their parents forced all the black children to do ballet)
- she also plays the chello well
- religious trauma/guilt/internalized homophobia (i headcanon her to be a lesbian, srry guys)
- i personally think she wasn't a very social person. the only person she was close with in hogwarts (other than her sisters and alice) was zahara (mrs. zabini). i headcanon them to be roommates. i think she somehow won narcissa's trust, and since then, they were friends.
- i personally think narcissa did believe in her family's blood purist views, because she didn't know there was another choice. however, when she came to hogwarts and realized that halfbloods and muggleborns were just as much people as purebloods, she started doubting.
- i personally think she had more of a white hair than blonde
- no rizz, just autism and big brown (yes, brown) eyes

- i think they met on the train in first year. alice sat next to narcissa and they talked a bunch. then, they forgot about each other for a year.
- they met again in second year, when both of them got onto their quidditch teams. they disliked each other. narcissa thought she hated alice because she was loud and annoying, but in truth, she was jelous of her freedom and had a little crush on her hehehe. alice found narcissa offputing and mean.
- somewhere in fourth year, they got paired up for a potions assignment. they worked together and found that the other was totally different from what they had previously thougth about them.
- they slowly got closer, until they hung out all the time. now, it was 5th year, they were both prefects, and kept accidentally stumbling into each other during their patrols, getting completely distracted by talking.
- one hogsmead weekend around christmas of 6th year, they go ice skating to a lake in the village. alice is horrible, narcissa, of course, is a talent. she helps the other stumble on the ice, hands interlocked. alice almost falls, but narcissa catches her. their faces are way too close, and they finally kiss!!
- narcissa, of course, goes into denial about it.
- they get together sometime at the end of 6th year, beginning of 7th year!
- i personally think that andromeda was supposed to marry lucius. narcissa lived her life thinking that she could marry whoever she wanted, but when andromeda ran away, that dream was shattered.
- they broke up when they left school, alice on one, narcissa on the other side of the war. (uggh, they make me physically sick)
- narcissa visited alice only once in st. mungo's. after she saw draco off to the hogwarts express for the first time. she saw neville and immideatley knew who he was.
- she went to st. mungo's right after, and stayed there for hours, telling alice about everyhting that has happened since, telling her about draco and neville, telling her about everything, while the woman sat there with no light in her eyes, not even looking at her.
- when narcissa was about to leave, face tear stained and puffy, the woman handed her a daffodil.

give me alice as the youngest of three boys, and the daughter of the ice cream man. give me alice who learned to yell to be heard, and who fought for her right to be on the quidditch team since her second year at hogwarts. alice who was so good with animals that they seemed drawn to her, making her the favorite student in the care of magical creatures class. who was so gentle that narcissa thought it was an act the first time they interacted (because why in merlin's name was the gryffindor chaser offering her a hand and a smile after nearly knocking her off her broom?). give me alice who had a chipped tooth from the time she fell off a hippogriff. who signed up for muggle studies just to understand lily and mary's talks. who trained james when he asked her to, and had the bubbliest, easiest laugh in all of school. give me alice who chopped her hair so it wouldn’t bother her during practice, who loved makeup just as much as she loved boy shorts, and who had the softest, most gentle chocolate eyes. give me alice who avoided her own feelings out of fear of being hurt, and who would fight the whole world for what she believed was right. give me alice who more than once punched a blood purist in the face. give me alice with deep dimples in each cheek, callused hands with peeled nail polish, kicks way too strong, angry brows, alice who couldn’t keep it together in serious situations.
