Chapter 3: 2nd page

Quinn calls Stone, Sora, and Tre into her office for the assignment.

After a few disputes, complaints, and a demand for answers; she sits them down and explains the situation. As you all know, the “sons of the abyss”, are a crazy-ass cult that seek to release their dark lord from the depths of hell to “ENLIGHTEN” both humans & monsters by starting anew (apocalypse).

To do that, they need the divine flame and enough souls (killings). Yuri being one of them.

This causes Stone’s blood to boil. He then asks why Sora and his family were getting involved.

“For safety purposes,” Quinn responded, “and because Sora’s their key…”

A few hours later, Gabriela sits down with them and explains that, when she was pregnant with Sora, the doctors said his probability of being a stillborn was certain. Once Sora was born, he wasn’t moving…nor breathing. She was heartbroken, until some hunters brought in the divine flame and offered it to her to save Sora’s life.

A stillborn…the perfect vessel…
