“Have you ever seen a child drift into sleep, his tiny body trembling, clutching his pain instead of a blanket?
Have you ever tried to serve a meal made of patience because there was no food to place on the table?
Hisham, my youngest, wakes up crying with hunger just longing for a small sip of milk or a tiny piece of biscuit. Today, he broke down in painful sobs because he saw a banana in a video and begged me for one. A banana. That’s all he wanted. But in all of Gaza, there’s not a single fruit to be found. Imagine the pain of a father who can’t give his child even that. In that moment, I wished the earth would swallow me. That’s how powerless I’ve become.
Qusai, my gentle son with the beautiful face, looks at me every day and asks for just a bit of flour. But even flour is now a luxury we can’t afford. His innocent hope shatters me.
And Eileen, my sweet little girl—this famine has stolen her light. She no longer laughs, no longer plays. It’s as if her spirit is slowly fading away before my eyes.
🆘 This is our life now: If you have money, you may live. If you don’t, you die quietly, from hunger Please we are running out of time.
Save us. Save our children.
In the darkest times, a helping hand can be a lifeline. My friend Samer and his family in Gaza are suffering from hunger and malnutrition, especially his young children—Qusay, Eileen, and Hisham. With their income cut off, even basic food has become a daily struggle. Let’s leave a mark of hope, no matter how small. Your donation could mean a meal for a starving child or a moment of relief in this humanitarian crisis.
