Important Gaza Information, please don’t scroll before reading!!!

This Thursday, June 12th, Israel struck the last fiber optic cable in Gaza. Both the people of Gaza and humanitarian workers have been plunged into a complete “communication blackout”. They have lost all contact with the outside world, both via the internet and fixed communication lines, in a “systematic attack” on Palestinian telecommunication infrastructure.

This limits Palestinians ability to report deadly Israeli attacks on civilians seeking aid, hinders emergency responders, impacts life saving operation in Gaza and makes it difficult for the Palestinian civil defence workers to pinpoint victims.

This was the people of Gazas last way of communicating with the rest of the world.

I have personally not been able to contact my friend Aya, and I am terrified that she might be hurt or even dead. And if this cuts of her access to her campaign funds she and her family might starve soon, and many other family’s in Gaza who are dependent on donations for survival may be in the same situation. If anyone has any way for me to contact Aya to make sure she is okay, please send me an ask.

This is what Isreal wants, to further block aid to Gaza, to stop the spread of proof of their crimes against the Palestinian people and scare away humanitarian aid.

If you are a EU citizens go and yell at your representatives (more info about how in my pinned post), keep donating in case they can still access their fundraisers and don’t shut up about what is happening. Isreal is trapping the Palestinian people to kill them, either with bombs or by starving them, without any care for their suffering, humanity or mercy.

This began on June 10th, on the 12th of June the last one was cut. Three days, THREE DAYS, of being silenced, the days of being isolated, three days of being unable to call for help, three days of aid workers struggling to coordinate. And today 100% of Gazas internet and fixed-communication lines being offline. Mobile networks are barley functioning and are expected to collapse soon due to the sever strain, lack of infrastructure and absence of redundant systems.

This was a deliberate action by Isreal. Hell, this isn’t even the first time Isreal has done this, but this was the first time Gaza has experienced a complete blackout of both mobile and landline communications across the entire strip.

Nothing can come in to Gaza due to the blockade and now nothing can come out of Gaza due to this blackout.

We need to pressure our governments to act, to put their money where their mouths are when they say they stand for humanity. Because if they continue to be passive or still choose to trade or send weapons to Israel they are just as much of a murder as Isreal.

My 4-year-old sister is suffering from malnutrition and severe psychological trauma. She’s more afraid than she’s ever been in almost two years of genocide, now refusing to let go of my mother and screaming at the slightest sound of gunshot. Her spine is showing through her skin, her whole body is weak and too small for her age and she’s been extremely depressed, glaring at everyone, refusing to play, crying for just one bite of the bread we can’t have. Smallpox is spreading and I’m afraid she won’t survive if she catches it when she’s already so weak.

Please help me provide at least something for her. Seeing her in this state hurts so, so much. I wouldn’t ask if I had any other choice but we burn through our money fast because of rent and the insane inflation, $1,000 in my area for 25kg of flour. We also need to buy medicine when we can find it because everyone is sick due to the harsh conditions.

In a humble tent, the cat "Loza" trembled from exhaustion, searching for safety amid the cold and fear. Beside her sat Abdulrahman, the kind-hearted boy who knew nothing but love and compassion.

In Egypt, we are stuck between a bitter alienation and a painful reality. 😔🚧 We do not have residency, which makes every step difficult and every day full of challenges. Prices in Egypt resources are unforgiving, and the ones we brought with us are quickly melting away. 💸 While we try to endure and survive, our hearts remain attached to Gaza; The homeland that never leaves our minds or leaves us for a moment. 🇵🇸💔 Our loved ones there live under siege, and we live under the burden of alienation and worry for them.
