My name is Suheila, a mother of five from Gaza.

After our home was completely destroyed, we have been left with nothing — no shelter, no food, no water. We are living in the open, exposed to the harsh elements, hunger, and fear.

My husband, Shadi, is seriously injured and unable to move or work. There is no access to treatment or even pain relief. His condition worsens daily.

My son, Shukri, is slowly fading. He hasn't eaten in a week. His tiny body is withering before my eyes — and I am powerless to help him.

My daughter, Mira, suffers from severe malnutrition. I have a medical report confirming her condition, but there is no medicine, no food, and no milk available.

We are desperate. My children are in pain. We have nothing left.

I hope you are doing well. It has been more than two years since the genocide, as you know. I once had a previous donation link, but GoFundMe deleted it.

Now is the time we need your support the most. The war may have ended, but the tragedy has not. Prices are still very high, and winter is approaching. There are many difficulties and risks — such as the worn-out tents and other hardships.

We are all in need of your help and support.

If you cannot donate, please write posts about me and talk about my story. I have become part of this community and have lost many friends due to account closures. I also face a lot of criticism for using translation tools or accusations of being a scammer.Iwant to draw attention to the fact that English is not my first language, and I always need help to communicate better with you.

In fact, our tents are worn out and not ready for the winter, as we were bombed three times during the ongoing war. I’ve attached below several photos showing the shrapnel that fell on us and caused the tents to tear apart.

This city goes to sleep exhausted and wakes up to the very same exhaustion.

Everything in it is weary and heavy with pain.

The roads are broken, the buildings are rubble, the tents cannot withstand the cold of night nor the heat of day.

Water is scarce or contaminated, and food barely keeps people alive.

Even education now exists in a tent, healthcare in a tent,

The war has destroyed everything that once made life possible.

These photos were taken in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Radwan and Abu Iskandar in the center of Gaza City.

One of the stories I heard from a former prisoner after his release from the occupation’s jails still haunts me.

I asked him about the methods of torture he endured, and he told me in a trembling voice:

“They put me inside a coffin—just like those used for the dead. It was completely dark; I couldn’t see anything. There was only a small opening through which a thin tube was inserted, allowing me to drink water whenever the interrogator wanted. I stayed there for three full days, relieving myself inside that coffin and drinking whatever came through that tube. I’ll never forget that I drank things with strange tastes that I couldn’t identify—because I couldn’t see what they were giving me.”

This is just one of the many brutal forms of torture Palestinian prisoners are subjected to inside the occupation’s prisons.
