4-H/Adventure in Science is a nonprofit, all volunteer program affiliated with the University of Maryland 4-H Extension of Montgomery County, MD. AIS was founded independently of 4H, but it has benefited from its affiliation and partnership with 4H program (at the University of Maryland Extension) since 1990. 4H provides our administrative framework, along with the benefits of a nationally recognized organization.
