Simultaneously work on multiple tasks across two, side-by-side screens in one browsing tab with Microsoft Edge to boost your productivity and multitask more efficiently. Select the Split Screen icon from the toolbar to try it.

You can split two websites per tab.
To exit Split screen, select Close split screen (X) at the top right corner of the active screen.
There are two indicators of the active screen when Split screen is turned on:
1. The tab description will reflect the name of the active screen.
2. There will be a blue outline highlighting the active screen.
To open links from search results or other sites in the same screen that it was selected in, go to Switch between linked and unlinked tabs in the upper-right corner of your active screen, then select Open link in the current tab.
To open links from search results or other sites in the opposing screen, go to Switch between linked and unlinked tabs in the upper-right corner of your active screen, then select Open link from left to right.
