What an incredible experience co-leading the DevOps Bootcamp session! 🚀 Watching participants go from zero to deploying a full monitoring stack in one session was amazing. There's something special about seeing their Grafana dashboards come alive with real data from their own applications. Working with Genady Tsvik was fantastic! This production and cloud engineering master delivered the observability and monitoring bible 📓. His deep expertise made the learning experience so much richer! Big thanks to DevOps Leaders IL, Mamram Alumni Association, and Check Point Software for making this possible. Special shoutout to Nick Kaplan for leading operations and coordination throughout the entire course, and Tamar Alkobi for her exceptional leadership of the DevOps Leaders IL community. Another successful session of the DevOps Bootcamp, a volunteer initiative by DevOps Leaders IL and Mamram Alumni Association 💪 Thank you to Genady Tsvik and Miki Manor for leading the session. We started by diving into the fundamentals of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), exploring different tools and solutions, and even spun up our own Kind cluster and deployed an application using Terraform. 💻 Then we shifted gears into the world of Observability & Monitoring. We explored the three pillars: Logs, Traces, and Metrics, and got familiar with various tools that help bring visibility into modern systems. To wrap it all up, we deployed a full monitoring stack to our app and built a beautiful Grafana dashboard powered by Prometheus and Loki. Thanks to Check Point Software for hosting us!
