A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of the state starting tomorrow, where the temperature could feel like 95 to 99 degrees at times Thursday afternoon.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week as the heat index will likely exceed 100 degrees in a few towns. This is ahead of a round of storms we'll track across the state by the afternoon and evening hours.

We are currently in a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather for Friday's storm potential. Right now, damaging wind and small hail look to be the primary threats.

Saturday looks to be an average summer-like day across Connecticut before rain chances come back into play on Sunday. A few of those storms could be strong and produce a good amount of rainfall. Stay tuned!
