Great hotel in Matsushima, loved my stay there! I arrived a little bit earlier than expected and the team helped me doing an early check-in. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Location is great too: it's a short walking distance to the city centre and also close to the Matsushima and Takagimachi JR stations. The hotel team was outstanding: the couple managing the ryokan are great and the rest of the team did a very very good job too. Very good value for money. Highly recommended!

Objekat Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN je smešten na idealnoj lokaciji u gradu Ōwani, i to u četvrti Owani Onsen, na 42 km od znamenitosti Jezero Towada, 43 km od znamenitosti Arheološko nalazište... Exceptional service from manager and staff. We arrived after dinner time, and the manager, cheff and staff stayed on to serve us delicious food. Thank you very much. Will san New Zealand.

This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

Objekat Yuze Hotel se nalazi u gradu Kazuno, u četvrti Yuze Onsen, na 38 km od znamenitosti Skijalište Appi Kogen. The dinner was amazing - there was a station where the staff prepares a small dish on the spot for you. The onsen was eye-opening to say the least. It is located beside a stream / forest, and it was refreshing to soak in the onsen while listening to the stream flow by.

Objekat Takasagoya Ryokan se nalazi u gradu Zao Onsen, u regiji Yamagata, na 2 min. hoda od znamenitosti Ski rizort Zao Hotsprings. The owners/staff are extremely kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They allowed me to check in early and even let me use the onsen in the afternoon after checkout.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. The staff were extremely friendly and very customer service oriented. The room and facilities were of extremely high quality - I felt as if I was in a 5 star hotel. The dinner was perfect. Hot springs are very pleasant.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Wonderful wonderful place! The food was brilliant, the staff were absolutely fantastic and the facilities were above and beyond. We had a wonderful time there
