The accommodation provided everything we could need in our 2-day trip in Tokashiki. The hosts were very helpful. They also provided shuttle transfer from/to the ferry. The house is close to the beach.

Where to even begin.. Shizuka is such a pure and genuine soul. We absolutely loved staying with her. What makes a trip memorable is not only the places you visit, but the people you meet. Shizuka is such a person. She has chosen to share her slice of paradise with (international) travelers and we couldn't be more grateful. The homestay is comfortable, tastefully decorated and included all the amenities you could ask for - including guidebooks and local recommendations. Shizuka took her time showing us the property and the facilities. She even made a welcome platter for us with local snacks! Every day, we were greeted with the most beautiful fresh flowers from her garden. When we visited (January 2025), she had two cute baby goats (Linda-chan & Emma-chan). Her garden is a real treasure, with local herbs and fruits. We slept fantastic, since it was very quiet. The local beach around the corner is stunning. It is also the place where my partner proposed to me, making this trip even more memorable. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you Shizuka! We hope to see you again, in Ishigaki or in Luxembourg.

Aia, terrassi ja vaikse tänavavaatega Minshuku Irayoi asub Ishigaki saarel, 80 meetri kaugusel Shiraho rannast. 2015. Staying at Minshuku Irayoi was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, charming, and a short walk from the bus stop and Shiraho beach, full of marine life. Free shower and laundry soap, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, which is convenient. Outstanding meals prepared by one of the minshuku owners, who is also a local artist. Do make time for a chat with her and her husband, who are happy to provide tips and recommendations for things to do in the area, and who facilitate conversation with other guests if staying for meals. Chances are you will spend a lovely evening getting to know fellow travellers around drinks and music. Stay at Irayoi if you're interested in learning about real Ishigaki life and culture!

Just a minute's walk from Fusaki Beach, FUSAKI BEACH RESORT HOTEL & VILLAS features pools, 4 restaurants and aroma healing spa treatments. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. It had a lovely, long stretch of beach with lots of tidal pools. Loved the rooms and the amenities and the staff were extremely helpful. Helps if you speak Japanese though!
