The staff is very helpful, breakfasts are great (kind of a mix of both Japanese and European food), the beds are comfortable, the pets they have there are so cute. Hope to come back again!

Situated in Onna, 400 metres from Nakama Beach, Umino Ryotei Okinawa Nakamasou provides accommodation with a sauna and a public bath. The room and the hotel in general are cosy and beautiful : the design is very well thought and the Ryokan feel is real. Special thanks to the staff that has been lovely, very kind and helpful, even with our changing plans. They are the best hotel staff we met so far in Japan. The view on the ocean from the room was stunning, as well as the bathtub on the room. The Onsen is great as well, with the ocean view and a nice sauna. We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfast at the hotel and the food was delicious and very generous, on the pricy side but very delicate, and it was convenient to eat at the hotel as we didn’t have a car. The massage was divine as well, the practitioner very talented. Thank you so much to the staff for such a lovely time at your hotel !

Amazing accomodation! The location is superb, next to a lush green jungle and only 5 minutes from the nicest beach. Yes, it's a bit far from downtown, but we made it work even without hiring a car. The rooms are beautiful and have nice terraces. The family running it is amazing. We also had an excellent breakfast every day. Can't imagine a better place to stay!

Clean hotel, we’ll maintained by the friendly owners in the heart of nice Kabira Bay, close to restaurants and a small convenience store. The hotel has a vacation, island vibe and the owners let you feel at home. We had tow Japanese style rooms: sleeping on tatami, small bathroom, small fridge and water boiler. Every day new towels. It’s indeed nice to look at the stars from the roof of the hotel or have a coffee in the morning up there. Would stay here again and recommend the guesthouse.

Aia, terrassi ja vaikse tänavavaatega Minshuku Irayoi asub Ishigaki saarel, 80 meetri kaugusel Shiraho rannast. 2015. Staying at Minshuku Irayoi was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, charming, and a short walk from the bus stop and Shiraho beach, full of marine life. Free shower and laundry soap, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, which is convenient. Outstanding meals prepared by one of the minshuku owners, who is also a local artist. Do make time for a chat with her and her husband, who are happy to provide tips and recommendations for things to do in the area, and who facilitate conversation with other guests if staying for meals. Chances are you will spend a lovely evening getting to know fellow travellers around drinks and music. Stay at Irayoi if you're interested in learning about real Ishigaki life and culture!
