United StatesWe were only allowed one room key which, being two of us staying would have been convenient as we were sometimes doing different things. The cafe and restaurants were convenient, but not the best of quality for the price.
The Blue Lagoon was a great stay for our first time in St. Vincent. Located between the airport and the main town of Kingstown, we felt centrally located and within a good driving distance of most places we wanted to go to. The hotel grounds were great, with a nice pool and lounge area, a beach area with a bar, and a few restaurants/cafes. The marina was a nice touch, a lot of the people staying or coming through seemed to be for the marina. The beds were very very comfortable and we slept soundly with strong AC. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The WiFi was strong and helpful for me as I was working from the room.

United KingdomWe were in room 9 directly on top of the entrance to the Marina so noisy especially at the weekend from 6.30 am as boats arrive back and prepare for following weeks trips. Ice cream/ breakfast cafe playing music from 8 am onwards. Swimming pool no toilet close by and need to bring drinks from supermarket or bar. Ant infestation bitten alive One night we had music playing until 2.15 am when I tried to call reception the phone in the room had no cable attached advised manager next morning free breakfast offered Loft restaurant great venue and view food cooked but luke warm at best Other restaurants within walking distance

United KingdomThe room could do with a small fridge. Ordering food in the restaurant was hap/hazard. Our main course in the evening was forgotten about. The breakfast came with out jam or marmalade. Orders for tomatoes and granola had been forgotten. Reception staff were a bit brusque.
I liked the Loft Bar. The bed was comfortable and the room had a balcony with a nice view over the marina and out to sea. The cafe offered snacks, good ice cream, coffee and soft drinks.

Slower than slow, disinterested staff and the food for breakfast was horrible. kept having to repeat requests for water and waitresses were more interested in their phones than serving customers. Ground floor restaurant had one very friendly waitress and the rest of the staff were not friendly at all. Not sure if this is affiliated to the hotel but the supermarket staff were rude and unhelpful as well. Very disappointing to report given that front of house staff and security were delightful.
Reception staff were excellent. Friendly and polite.

CanadaThe cashier was not polite, at the grocery store. Purchased a bunch of snacks and drinks. She rang me up, I paid with my card, after the purchase went through I asked for a bag and she told me it cost 50 cents. Why would you not ask je if I needed a bag before hand so you could charge me the same time as the snacks. Her attitude was not polite or inviting as I am a tourists to this country. Before booking the room, I called the hotel to confirm If they had beach access I was told by Cassandra (Front desk) that they didn’t have direct access but If I was a guest at Blue Lagoon, I would have access to Coconut Grove beach club, however upon arrival to Blue Lagoon and check-in, I was given the same information. When I walked over to Coconut Grove Beach club, I was told they are not open until Thursday. This was very disappointing as I booked this hotel based on the fact I had access to a beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Despite the inconsistent information, I did try to enjoy the rest of my stay.
The location was beautiful, great views from my balcony. I enjoyed the “The Loft restaurant and bar” our bartender and server was great. Very attentive. Breakfast was just as great as dinner service.

We get this type of food in the USA at a better price and quality, Why pay more for less? One key two people not acceptable. The desk folks could have been more helpful overall. Give us some reason to be there. Tell us about the good beaches around. Sight seeing option?
