Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilThe hostel didn´t accept payment by card The shared rooms were not ensuite.
Breakfast was really wonderful, with a lot of options!! The staff was helpfull and attentive. The location was very good, near the metro station, supermarket, and easy to get from the airport and train station. The shared rooms were comfortable and clean as well as the toilets and shower. There´s a swimming pool to relax after a day walking around the city

India1. Beds are a bit cranky and makes alot of sound. Even rotating in bed feel like you are disturbing someones sleep. 2. For ground floor dorm there is only one toilet to share among i believe 10 people. Sometimes it gets crowded. But it was manageable as there are 2 showers. Also washroom are common for both genders if someone is not comfortable with this.
1. Location is central in nice quiet area. 2. Breakfast is really good with wide variety. 3. You will find alot of travellers from around the world. 4. Staff is helpful and humble. 5. Kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook your own meal. 6. Clean beds, sheets get changed when person leaves. 7. There is a pool you can use to feel good in hot summer in tashkent. Not sure if water is changed daily i only used it once. 8. Common area is wide and you can stay there if you arrive early, but check in strictly 2 pm if hostel is full. Even if you check out you can stay there if your flight is late in the evening or so.

United StatesArt Hostel was overbooked.
When I made this booking, Art Hostel messaged me to say they had "accidentally" overbooked and offered me a room in the "Art Hotel" instead. I ended up not being too upset about it, because my room in Art Hotel was nicer than the Art Hostel. I did stay in the Art Hostel for one night before my flight out of Tashkent. I can't comment on it much though because I arrived late at night and left early in the morning. The room was ok. No complaints.

FranceThe hostel is really well located off you are ready to walk, it is a 7-10 mn walk to the métro, close to many restaurants and near the fine arts museum. We walked almost everywhere else. The breakfasts were plentiful, home made and different every day which was great to discover the different types of Uzbek food. Our 4 bedroom was big and comfortable and the pool a life saver in the 42 degrees afternoons. We also met loads of backpackers like us from a variety of nationalities, including locals so we had, all in all, a great start!

United KingdomWhat's not to love?
Elvira, Tatiana & Donna are such kindly helpful hostesses, dedicated to ensure guests are comfortable & well catered for. Superb value for money, with a great buffet breakfast spread included in the price. Dorms are comfy, sockets & light beside the bed, all lower beds, no bunks, really convenient. Toilet facilities kept clean. It's in a quiet safe leafy neighborhood, within 15 mins stroll from either Oybek or Cosmonavtlar (great art) metro stations. Pleasant common areas ideal for meeting guests from many nations: attracts a friendly crowd. I arrived after midnight, but this was not an issue (though best to let the ladies know in advance). I need to get to the airport at 3am, and again they can effortlessly arrange an affordable taxi. So lovely: Art with Heart. Rakhmat!
