I liked everything about this property: room was comfortable and clean, staff friendly and amazing with all informations.

No elevators or help with luggage. Single woman 76 needs some help with luggage if she us put in a upstairs room with no elevator. Desk clerk was not friendly. Overall nit impressed. Would nit recommend to others and will not stay again.

The room we stayed in had 2 huge sticky stains on the floor. The bed in the room had a dip in the middle, seriously. The refrigerator was pretty much unusable it was so small and it was very old. Furniture was scratched and old. I reported this to the person at the desk of the hotel and received zero response in reference to the stuff on the floor.

Breakfast was okay, at least there was yogurt and bagels and they were fresh.

Not sure if equipment or utility room below us but each evening around dark was loud. Staff wasn't very warm. Made you feel like you were being an inconvenience. Exterior rough and dated and parking lot hade large hole blocked off that looks like it had been there awhile. Room walls/ceilings numerous sloppy drywall patches. Tile in front of toilet loose and crappy caulk job trying to disguise. Shower trying to get heat set P.I.T.A. Wall heaters from 1960s vintage heaters less than desirable. After all this I understand why we got a good rate on a room that needs a SERIOUS fix.

I would have been nice to see the ocean, but it is understandable that was not possible with the surrounding structures.

The Location was great for the sites we came to see. The flowers around the hotel were beautiful.

Room was nothing like it was shown in pictures. Even though the windows were facing towards sea, I couldn’t get any sea view because windows were so old that I couldn’t see through them.

Our room was not cleaned, the phone in the room did not work and the ice machine was broken. When I mentioned that the room was not cleaned they said I had to request it. No one mentioned that to me at check in.

Several staff just didn’t seem welcoming or excited about being at work. Breakfast was nothing special. Lots of carbs for sure (bagels, bread, muffins, cereal, waffles, etc).

There is nothing bad about the hotel, but, I'm 65 and the people above us had no consideration for anyone, they were up at all hours of the night, it literally sounded like there were a couple of heavy animals running around the room throughout the night, it was had getting sleep... I wish people would have a little more consideration for others. They aren't at home. They are sharing a hotel with lots of other people...

The location is great, very close to everything, which made it so convenient... The staff were awesome, friendly, and very informative... The hotel is very clean, although they do allow pets. You couldn't tell unless you have allergies, so be aware because my husband had bad allergies all weekend during our stay. The continental breakfast is just that, nothing special, but fresh and hot every morning and very clean... it was cold while in San Simeon but very fresh air, and the heater in the room warned it up quickly... We would stay here again... Oh, and there's plenty of parking...

I wish the window was cleaned better on the outside. As the sunset it was extremely spotted (guessing from the salt water).

Loved the location and ocean view. We were able to park and walk around the local town. Cambria was a short drive away and absolutely adorable!

We arrived in a downpour and the young man at the front desk was wonderful, helped us with our luggage and suggested a pizza restaurant that delivered.

There was a very heavy walking person above. I had my dog with me and the dog would bark when the heavy walking continued all night. I woke up all nite all three nights. I love this place and thought after one nite they would leave, but no they were there all the nights I was there. My fault I am sure they would have moved me if I said something. I love this place. Sometimes people can be jerks.

They had coffee ready for us at 7. So we could get on our way to see the Elephant Seals nearby.

Room was smaller than expected but comfortable enough. Far from other facilities/ areas.

Breakfast was simple. Water dispenser available near the lobby. Pool was heated. Quiet environment, location near to Hearst castle.
