Nice large comfortable clean room, with a large comfy bed. Large TV lots of Chanel’s Great location near Hearst castle and Coll town of Cambria , few local restaurants near by with great food. Good self service breakfast in the morning. Nice swimming pool. Place would be made brilliant with a little bar and possible on site good ?

Beds were a little soft for our taste. The couch and chair were pretty tired. They only offered cranberry juice at the continental breakfast.

The location was close to Hearst Castle.

Some of the furniture has seen better days and some things were dated, but that wasn't a problem for us.

We arrived to town pretty late and were having trouble finding a hotel willing to give us a room. The Morgan Hotel staff were more than helpful. We received a late check-in by the friendly staff. It was much appreciated! It's a really neat place to stay if you are going to be checking out Hearst Castle. There have some really neat sketches and drawings lining the walls of the corridors. Breakfast options were great.

The breakfast is very basic but as that in included in the price I can’t argue. Other than that nothing really disliked about the property.

The room was very spacious, staff extremely friendly. The heated pool was great to relax in. The location was brilliant just a 2 min stroll to the coastline and just off the PCH (Hwy 1)

Even though the room was cozy and clean, the bed was indented on both side from people sleeping on it, which made it uncomfortable. I mentioned it the person that checked me in, he was willing to change me to another room but he did not have another room with a king bed of facing the ocean so I declined to be move.

No elevators, no smart TV, no jacuzzi, no easy access to the beach and the restaurant next door was horrible not enough servers or cashier waited then to tell us come back in 30 min. Went down the street to another hotel restaurant. There’s no a big selection of places to eat. Our room had a hole in it and says ocean view but really it’s partial because the outgrown trees cover the ocean.

Outdated, no air or elevator. Parking was adequate. Pool is outdated no jacuzzi. Furniture outdated too and no smart TV. Decent for the value.

I was not aware of the highway 1 closure before San Simeon, which meant that we had to turn around and after several miles get on CA101 instead in order to get to the hotel. The drive from San Francisco was in the end an eight hour drive.

The breakfast was adequate, although not quite to my taste. The hotel is cosy and the reception very efficient.

Our first room was in the separate older building and it smelled damp and unpleasant and was very grubby and dated. We called reception and got changed to a room in the newer building.

When we changed rooms things were much better. The room was clean but the shower unfortunately wasn’t. The breakfast choices were good.

It’s expensive for one night, offered breakfast, but only waffles and cereal.

The staff was amazing! The bed was comfy, the view from our room was amazing as well. The fireplace in our room was spectacular.
