Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe only thing that really bothered us was the AC that unfortunately distributed some sort of moisture smell in our room. We turned it off and resorted to the ceiling fan, and of course informed the staff. I assume that the filter or maybe the whole unit needs to be replaced. Other than that, we were very satisfied.
I mean... it's the Colony Hotel right in the middle of the Ocean Drive. You don't book a room there by accident. :-D The location is absolutely speaking for itself, and the rooms are of course old, as is the whole building, but are so far in acceptable shape. The staff was extraordinarily polite and helpful, and the facilities (restaurant area outside, lounge and bar inside) were really nice. The food and drinks are of course pricey due to the location, but the meals were surprisingly good and the pprtions not to small.

The ceiling fan light would mysteriously come on and the toilet would sometimes not fill after flushing - had to remove the top and make it work - then again you don’t spend much time in your room in South Beach.
Location was great and the staff friendly and responsive, and the air conditioner worked well.
