Be careful how you store your food; there might be ants that come to get it if it’s sweet.

The City House is a 2-star hotel, so our expectations weren’t high, but it turned out to be a very convenient place to stay. It’s very close to the fruit market, where you’ll find the best places to eat, like Lak Lak. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. They also provided water every day. I would definitely come back to this place.

The bed was really hard. I know in Thailand that beds are firm, but this was next level. However, I did end up having a good night sleep...could be due to the many beers though.

This is a perfect stay for one or two nights. Location was perfect. So close to night markets and river. Room was clean and spacious and staff were lovely and helpful.

The location was quite far from Ao Nang center and the commute was a bit difficult.

There was a damp patch in the bathroom ceiling that sometimes dripped at night making it hard for me to sleep. Didn't bother my girlfriend.

the owner are friendly and helpful.hotel is just beside night market which open day and night.turn left 400m is weekend night market.no balcony but corridor there is a balcony u can smoke.hotel provide car to airport 300baht.u can walk to pier and take a long tail boat to floating restaurant for seafood.

It’s not a fancy accommodation, you get what you pay for! A couple of nights are perfectly fine 😊 the location is very good.

- place was clean for most part however was mould on walls and towels/sheets stained. Could tell room had been cleaned just needed a little bit extra. - some ants but common in Asia

- owner was really really nice and welcoming. So friendly and helpful - private room with en-suite, towels provided, water and fridge - good location right next to markets, restaurants and bars - offered onward transport options/ laundry

AC took a long time to cool the room (although being on the top level, maybe this is normal?)

The City House achieved exactly what we wanted from it - a convenient stop en route to Ao Nang. The location is excellent (being next to sone markets, with great food + 100 baht cocktails), the facilities are adequate and the hosts are very friendly.

The Mrs said the bed was hard, but I didn't notice this.

Although this was not the most salubrious of hotels, it perfectly suited our needs. We only needed somewhere to sleep prior to our early flight from Krabi Airport. The location was perfect; situated right next to the night market and near the river. The manager was brilliant, making sure we were up in time to drive us to the airport. Tea and coffee facilities were available downstairs in reception. There are none in the room. All-in-all, the perfect cheap hotel for a quick stop over.

AC had a hard time keeping up with the brutal heat.

Great location near the night markets and riverfront. It's quiet, the people running it are really nice and helpful. The room is spacious and very clean, with a large window (and good curtains). Not necessarily a problem, but there is no elevator, and it's a four story building.
