We found the bathroom doesn’t have any towel rack and any mini table to put our things away. Also the room doesn’t have any small refrigerator. I like to buy cheese and wine in my trips to enjoy it every night.

Nothing, really! The drains were a bit slow and the remote was taped together, but honestly, nothing.

The wifi didn't reach our room. It would have been nice to have an alternative lighting source other than the harsh ceiling light. Quite noisy during the night.

This is NOT on the beach, I know on google maps it looks like it is but it's not BUT it is close to the water, just down the street. I also stayed at another hotel, and this was better all in all but the hike to get to the room was ALOT and we dreaded it every time. This is also a family friendly hotel and there are kids everywhere, so if hearing kids early in the morning is not your jam, this is not the place for you.

We stayed in two hotels during our stay, and this was the preferred one! The manager/owner speaks fluent English which is such a place when no one around speaks English! She let us get into our room hours early as well which is nice when you're traveling. These beds were way more comfortable, and the AC worked well, the bathroom is also spacious and there's a TV in your room. Two different pool areas and many lounge areas.

WiFi had a good signal but barely worked. My room, although spacious and clean, was very basic - there was no table or desk or anything like that.

Location is OK, close to the main street but far enough to muffle the noise. The place is huge, with individual rooms grouped in twos and threes in separate buildings that give more privacy. The bathroom was clean, with cold water only (no big deal in the hot climate over there). There is a pool.

Pool area a little basic. Staff weren't helpful with booking an onward taxi, just gave me a number.

Quirky room was Hobbit-like from the outside and spacious within. Breakfast served on our balcony was a good touch. Very convenient for the centre of El Tunco, but didn't notice any noise from the centre at night Comfortable hammocks.

I’m giving it a 9 only because the Wi-Fi in my room didn’t work. I had to sit right outside of my room or go to other areas to use it. I went with the mindset of unplugging from technology as much as possible so that was ok I guess. But if you really need Wi-Fi it that is something to confirm with hotel first.

Enjoyed the stay, and excellent customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and helpful. The whole experience and atmosphere at El Tunco was wondering.

Great location, short 3-5 min walk to beach. Had the top of the tower to myself for yoga! My room was at the back of hotel property by the 2nd pool and it was quiet and I felt safe walking to and from room when dark.

- Overpriced for what it is - Old and getting on in years - Directly in front of the room a public parking lot - Breakfast is very small - When we asked for a piece of bread we had to pay extra, although breakfast is included - Window in the room could not be locked - Cold shower, no possibility to adjust it - Plastic chairs and defective sun chairs - After the room change we had a room with a moldy mattress and mold in the corners. It also smelled strongly of moisture

I was given an inferior room, please make sure to check the room before paying, otherwise they'll give you anything with a double bed. Didnt looked at all like the pictures. Only solution they gave me was that next time they would give the one I booked. Absolutely bad service. Breakfast was poor and cold. Shower pressure wasn't enough to even wash your hands, toilet seat was wrong, sink was uncomfortable. Wouldn't go back, not worth your money.
